Article Marketing on the Internet is a whole different story because of the way your articles reach humans who have an interest in them. Article Marketing will help you increase your link popularity, search engine positioning for your keywords and phrases, and it helps you reach more potential customers for your products or services.

Article marketing is one of the best ways online today to create responsive traffic. But one of the things that is important is that they have to click through from your article for you to get maximum traffic.

That might sound like a no-brainer, but seriously, if you could double the number of clickthroughs, that will double your income, right?

Here are some ideas that work:

1) Write on one targeted topic alone. Here is the psychology behind this: general surfers read general stuff; buyers read targeted information. The more targeted, the fewer responses, but the more the responses will buy from you.

2) You must write your article on exactly the same topic as your title indicates. If they are looking for cat toys and your title is How to Choose Cat Toys, you can be assured that they expect to read about cat toys. If your article is about how to choose cat toys, and only about choosing cat toys, they will read all the way to the end, and they might click your link. But if the article is about cat toys and dog toys, you have probably cut your chances in half that they will read through to the end. And if they dont read through to the end, they probably will not click on your link. So make sure you stay on target.

3) Your resource box and call to action must be directly related to the topic in the article and the title. If the article is about cat toys, the resource box should not have a call to action that reads: to find out more about (your name), click here. You see, they arent interested in you, they are interested in cat toys! Your call to action should be to find out more about cat toys, click here or to get a free cat toy, click here

You must have congruency in your article to get maximum clicks.
