Well Written Articles Are Necessary For Your Websites Success

Article writing can be a scary prospect for many and with good reason since many people do not understand how to write quality articles. However, getting past this fear is the first step in building not only your website traffic, but its ever valuable back links. Articles have long been known to many webmasters as a way to supply others not only with the valuable knowledge that they share, but also a way of generating traffic and higher rankings within the search engines. As many know the higher your website lists in the search engine rankings for specific keywords can have a direct impact on the popularity of a website.

It is for this reason that many webmasters long ago turned to writing articles to not only share their knowledge, but garner more natural links back to their sites through quality written content. In today's online market place it is simply not enough to place a few banners or text links on popular sites. While these are still effective to some degree, the majority of traffic that is being brought into most websites these days are provided by the high rankings in search engines and word of mouth.

Being viewed as an expert in a field is helpful and can be accomplished through well written articles. You will gain traffic to your site through these articles from people who are looking to learn more about the information you have all ready supplied them with. In addition you can gain valuable links to your site if the article becomes viral and spreads across the Internet to dozens, hundreds or even thousands of sites. The shear number of viewers that could see a well written article is staggering if it becomes popular.

So why do so many avoid writing short and informative articles? Most have to get over the fear of criticism from others on what their views are on particular and sensitive subjects. For some this fear is to overwhelming to overcome and they will continue to linger at the lower end of the search engine rankings, but for those few that grasp the concept they will eventually benefit from the rewards of their efforts.

Some will become successful by other means besides article writing. Their sites will naturally become popular by the word of mouth that propels them to the top of the Internet Bubble as has happened with some sites in the past few years. While others will use advertising campaigns to gain the recognition needed to succeed, but honestly most of us cannot afford to do this.

So where does that leave the average website operator? Looking for free and effective means with which to get their sites noticed by the Internet masses. Article writing is more than just simply writing one simple article it is an on going process that will ultimately help keep your website fresh in the minds of those very Internet users that you are so desperately trying to attract.

Best Article Marketing - Latest 4 Responsive Steps to Breakthrough with Article Marketing

Article marketing is the perfect content-based marketing solution if you want to popularize your website and gain steady traffic without spending a single cent. Yes, it is free and yet, very effective. This is the reason why it is the most used marketing tool in the internet today.

If you would like to breakthrough with article marketing, these 4 responsive steps will effectively help you out in reaching that goal:

1. Register on all major article submission sites. While you are at it, make sure that you read their terms of service to lessen or eliminate the chances of your articles being rejected online. Also, take advantage of their author's page and fill it with exciting information about yourself that could potentially help you build rapport with your readers. Post your most friendly-looking picture, your expertise, your desire to help, your hobbies, and your interest. Remember that although you need to market yourself as an expert on your chosen niche, you also have to make it personal so your potential readers can easily relate with you.

2. Check your resource box. Make sure that all the URLs and hyperlinks on your resource box are working as designed otherwise, all your article marketing efforts will just go down the drain. To make sure that your hyperlinks are okay, use the preview feature of submission sites before you post your articles.

3. Make your articles easy to understand. Never assume what your readers know and use offbeat acronyms and terms that are rather difficult to understand. To easily get your message across, stick with simple terms and short sentences.

4. Manually proofread your articles. Never put your credibility and professionalism at stake by taking the time to manually review your articles to eliminate run-on sentences, grammar errors, awkward phrases, and inconsistency in tenses or subject-verb agreement.

Article Marketing - How to Make It Work For You

Information based marketing is one of the oldest and most effective techniques for bringing targeted prospects to your site and converting them into buyers. This is part of the reason that software, and distribution services that make the process of article promotion easier are so popular lately.

Though the various tools you can use to make the process of distributing your articles more easily are invaluable in getting your content the most exposure, thats only half of the story.

Getting article marketing to work for your site lies primarily in two things:

The article youre submitting, and
The preparation you do before a single word of your content is written.

Since those two determining factors make at least 50% of the difference in bringing you success, lets take a look at what the most common mistakes are in that area, and how to overcome them.

Mistake Number 1 - Confusing the Reason to Promote with Articles with the Reason to Write an Article

There are three key benefits to promoting an article - branding, lead generation, and as a corollary, online promotion, particularly as part of your optimization efforts.

Yet there is only one reason to write an article, and that is to inform your audience. If your article is not geared towards this as its primary purpose, you will fail to see the three benefits of promotion - because no one will want to read your article.

How many links youre able to generate by submitting your article to hundreds of sites will matter little if youre unable to get them picked up by publications, or read by people who search for information.

Sure, if you know what youre doing all those links pointing back to your site will count for something in your search engine results - but remember that generating links to your site is only one part of optimizing your site for Google, Yahoo or MSN.

To overcome this issue, youll need to figure out how to get people to read what is in your article, and then click through to your site from your resource box. The best start to a solution is to produce better content.

In the end its a matter of choice. You can get a little exposure from increased link backs, on a very basic level, or enjoy massive exposure from a little extra work.

Mistake Number 2 - Starting The Article Promotion without a Plan

Not every article can fulfil all three purposes of promotion. Some will work better for branding, others can generate leads and increase sales. But if you dont start out with a plan for what the function of your article should be, youll end up unhappy with the results.

To overcome this issue, before you write a single word, decide what purpose the article is supposed to serve. An article meant to brand you as an expert should display your knowledge. One for generating leads may need to be geared towards solving a very specific problem.

An article that gets published every where and helps to make you known is not meant to have the same level of exposure as hyper-targeted content geared towards a narrow group of people. Learning the difference will help you know what kinds of articles to write.

Mistake Number 3- Publishing Content That Doesnt Help Your Reader

Maybe youre thinking: All I want is links back to my site - any visitors the article generates is gravy.

Well guess what? Not all article banks and directories are going to accept your content automatically. You can double the number of sites you can submit to by writing articles that the directories want to share with readers. And all it takes is one publisher with a hundred thousand readers to increase your potential audience tenfold.

So if you want article marketing to work for you, write articles that publishers want in their publications.

This also means obeying the standard guidelines, running a spell check, researching a good topic to write about, or even hiring a writer to produce articles on your behalf.

Mistake Number 4 - Failing to Maximize the Promotional Opportunities of Article Marketing

You already know that articles marketing can help you generate additional links back to your site. But did you know that you can get more visitors and better search engine results from articles in a variety of ways?

You can mention your desired keyword in strategic places, though you should take care not to overdo this. Some people will also tell you to make use of anchor text, which can also be an effective method. However, you should know that the majority of directories and publications arent able to support this.

There are alternatives to this method that are just as effective, if not more so, but they require more space to explain.

Its not just about the links back to your site either. Part of doing well with article marketing is getting picked up by publishers with large audiences, or gaining the ability to leverage other brands due to the quality of your work.

Better search engine results are great.

But by themselves they dont put money in your pocket - there are a myriad of factors that can turn your article marketing efforts into an opportunity to increase your income, not just the number of visitors to your site.

Broken Links Will Hurt Your Search Engine Results

Search engine results are becoming more important every day as more people use the World Wide Web to find goods, services and information. One way to help your website achieve a decent ranking is by ensuring your site is free of bad links.

What Google Says About Links

When your website is ready: - Have other relevant sites link to yours. - Submit your website link or URL to relevant directories such as the Open Directory Project and Yahoo!, as well as to other industry-specific sites. - Make a website with a clear hierarchy and text links. Every web page should be reachable from at least one static text link. - Keep the links on a given page to a reasonable number (fewer than 100). - Check for broken links and correct HTML.

Broken Links Are Bad For Users And SEO

It is important to trade links with relevant websites. But the more sites you trade with the more difficult it becomes to detect a bad link.

Bad links happen when: - The company goes out of business or abandons its website - Domain name change - Website/ company merger - Page, pages or directory sections are deleted or no longer continued - Inexperienced Web editors or content managers make coding mistakes

Google will detect all bad links in your website. Google robots or crawlers are routinely gathering information from your website on a cyclic basis. You may experience a drop off or ranking change if your website contains bad links.

Think Of It This Way

Links are mini-direction maps. They tell the search engine robots where to find content within and outside of your website. Imagine someone giving you bad or inaccurate directions. Would you trust them? Would you come back or ask them again? Search engine robots work the same way.

Website Redesigns Can Affect Your Links

When you redesign your website it will most likely have a new link structure and new page names. For example, your home page may be given a new file name (index.asp) versus (index.html). And your interior pages might be given new naming conventions such as "suffolk-home-remodeling-team.html" versus "our-team.html."

Before the new website pages are launched, your webmaster should create redirects for all of your old or existing web pages so that clients or customers with bookmarks in their web browser "favorites" will be redirected to your new website or website interior pages. A redirect also tells the search engines where to find your new website interior pages. Webmaster should also include this information in your robots.txt file at the root directory of your website.

Link Checking

There are a few free and share-ware programs on the market that will perform a scan of your website link structure and detect and report any bad inbound or out-bound links. I prefer having someone do this for me on a daily basis. Most people simply do not have the time to do a link check every single day. I found a really inexpensive service that emails me reports when any bad links are detected. You can check them out at http://www.seventwentyfour.com/

There is also a popular software called Link Sleuth ™, a free multi-threaded link checking software that analyzes websites for broken links. It runs on Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000 and Windows XP. It requires some basic webmaster knowledge to run, but has pretty good documentation.

Solid Links = Solid Reputation

Whether you manually check your links, or use software or a link checking service, having a solid intact link structure reflects well on your website. It means you care about your visitors' online experience and your website presence.

Bad links may harm your website search engine ranking and leave your website visitors with a less than pleasurable experience.

Stop Making Statements That No One Cares About - Stop Complaining

If you are an online article author and you sneak in little sentences full of opinion into your articles, you might want to consider that if those comments are not based in reality, but only your own perception that no body really cares what you think. In fact, you probably are looking pretty ignorant to those of us who know better.

You see, I am not here to make you feel bad or belittle you, you are doing it to yourself, with these persnickety comments of yours. If you are attempting to get the reader to perceive of you as some sort of expert then the real experts are going to be taken aback by your rhetoric.

The fact of the matter is that No One really cares what you think until you do something, so if you have never really accomplished anything in your life but you feel they need to blast your opinion into cyberspace then many people who know better will merely think of you as that something that everyone has.

So, I recommend that you stop making comments that no one cares about and stop complaining about things that you either know nothing about or you perceive that they are the trendy thing to say. If all you do is write about things, but never do anything in life, then all you really do is add your name to the long list of maniac depressant writers who are on Prozac. Think about what I have said, this is Constructive Criticism, aimed to get you the help you need.

Best Article Marketing - Revealed - 3 Remarkable Secrets to Grow Your Article Marketing

Article marketing is one of the best internet marketing techniques that is proven to augment a website's traffic. It's success largely depend on the quality and quantity of articles submitted to publishing sites. So, if you have the knack for writing and you have enough time to submit your articles, this technique is the best for you. Here are the 3 remarkable secrets to grow your article marketing:

1. Use interesting, attention-grabbing titles. Your title is one of the elements in article marketing that plays a very crucial role. The quality of your titles can either make or break your marketing campaign. If your titles are lousy, there is a slim chance that your articles will be read by online users. Thus, it is very important that you know how to create titles that will pique the curiosity of your potential readers. Communicate the summary and benefits of your articles through your headline and make it brief, concise, and keyword-rich.

2. Specific vs. general topics. To make your articles more targeted, I suggest that you go with specific topics where your article can focus on one central theme. Discussing one broad topic in your article can cause confusion among your readers because of the amount of information they have to digest. Learn how to break down broad topics to more specific ones so you can get your message across easier.

3. Create your own template. If you have been using article marketing for quite sometime, you probably have an idea which of your articles that are generating interest. Make use of these articles when you draft a template. Take note of the elements that make them appealing to your potential clients and apply those on your template. This will make your writing easier and more effective.

How to SEO Your Wordpress Blog

Wordpress is one of the most seo friendly publishing systems today, but to get the best results you still need to tinker with it a little bit!

So let's see what steps you need to take to modify Wordpress so it will turn into a true seo CMS:

1. Permalinks structure: the default structure is no good at all - although search engines have no problem in indexing pages that have urls with variables, it's very clear that they prefer clean urls.

The best results I have seen are when permalinks structure is set to "%postname%", and only that. This is something to keep in mind for any site you build, Wordpress or any other CMS.

2. Related posts plugin ( tinyurl.com/262ao4 ): this is good for both your visitors and the search engines. It automatically finds related posts and displays them in a list - very useful when visitors arrive on a page looking for something and they get more info on the same subject.

3. Metatags plugin ( tinyurl.com/2fxota ): you simply can't let the search engines handle the text your visitors see in the search engine result pages. You can influence your click-through rate very much just by handling this one aspect of your copy.

As for the search engine optimization aspect - the description metatag can move you up a spot or two when you are in the first 5 with small to medium competition. And it only takes a minute!

4. Sitemap Generator Plugin ( tinyurl.com/2zy4nx ): for a small site this wouldn't be a problem, but when your page count goes over 50 indexing and maintaining a sitemap the old fashioned way just isn't viable.

This plugin is actually more valuable because it creates both an XML sitemap (like those used by Google) and a normal, HTML sitemap for your visitors.

Some of its features include: support for multi-level categories and pages, category/page exclusion, permalink support, what order to list items in and many other options.

5. List of ping sites ( tinyurl.com/2ljwrb ): put this great list in the Options -> Writing -> Update Services box and every time you write a new post 56 sites will link to you. This is a great way to ensure a quick indexing of every post on your site and, given enough time, get quite a few backlinks with the text anchor you choose.

Some optimizers say that blog and ping doesn't work anymore, but I do this everyday - it takes next to no time and the benefits are visible.

6. Technorati ( technorati.com ) is another easy way to make your Wordpress blog known, especially to other bloggers. Still, its biggest benefit is categorizing and indexing your content.

Create an account, claim your blog and then fill in the details in the blog settings page: write up a good description and then in the "tags" section fill in the keywords that represent your blog. Try to fill all the boxes but don't spam. If you grabbed the list from no. 5 you'll have all your posts listed in Technorati, and you're going to see the benefits really soon.

Apply these tips and soon you'll be on your way to more traffic and better ranking!

Article Marketing - As Simple as One, Two and Three

I could write about one, two and three. Then I could write about how things are when one, two and three are together. Then I could write about what it would be like if one two three did not exist. What would one two three be like if you forgot one? If you only had one, would that be of any use to you?

What would one, two three be like if you took away two? What if you thought two was too feminine? Would two be any fun without one and three? What if two was cracked or misspelled? Did you know that two can also be part of double digit numbers too?

What would one, two and three be like without three? If three is really just a small group of one's, is one still the loneliest number? Can three be eaten without milk? What if when you have one, two and three, you put them in the order of three, one and two?

If you were to take one of any of the numbers one, two three and bring in another one, two or three, would that be similar to h2o? Do you think that one, two three is effected (affected) by the weather? What about if they are indoors or outdoors?

The bottom line is that you can take something as simple as one, two and three and catalog as many different scenarios as you can think about in a day using everything in your life, memory and environment and write about it all day long. I guess what I am saying is that one, two and three are really infinite.

When you're done with all of that, go ask your mother what one two three was like when she was a kid.

Breakthrough Article Marketing - Discover 4 Must-Have Ways to Excel at Article Marketing

Article marketing is one of the most uncomplicated tools that you can use in driving quality traffic to your website. In using this marketing strategy, you don't need programming skills or spend your precious time convincing other webmasters to link back to you just to improve your page ranking and augment your page views. You just have to write quality articles that are targeted to the needs of your target market and submit them to publishing sites to obtain quality inbound links. It's that easy!

Here are the 4 must-haves ways to excel at article marketing:

1. Focus on the quality of your articles. You would want your articles to be read and widely distributed online to gain unlimited quality inbound links, correct? Then, you need to make sure that your articles are well-written, content-rich, useful, and highly relevant to your target niche.

2. Optimize. Increase the chances of your articles being read by making them highly searchable online. How? By being familiar with the algorithms of various search engines and learning how to identify and position relevant keywords on your content.

3. Submit your articles on a regular basis. To strengthen your online presence, submit at least 5 articles everyday. The more articles you write and submit, the more quality inbound links you can create for your website. Not only that, you will also send a strong message to your readers that you have so much information to share and that you are really an expert on your chosen niche.

4. Keep your articles short. Don't bore your readers with essay-like articles and limit your content to 300-500 words. If you can't fit all your ideas in this word count, I suggest you create another new article.

The Truth About Global Marketing With Article Marketing

Thanks to the vast reaches of the internet, global marketing is now possible for the average business owner, either the large corporation or the small privately run entity, to narrow the geographic divide.

The main point of search engine optimization (SEO) and reaching a global audience is not only to drive traffic to your site, but also to then convert those visitors from all over the world into paying customers. Web traffic and the ensuing exposure are nice, of course, but if those hits don't improve business and increase sales, what purpose do they really serve?

The Prime Components of Global Marketing With Article Marketing

Creating a Website

For article marketing to have even a chance at being effective, it's imperative for all businesses to have their own websites to link back to when submitting articles to search engines and article directories. Also, having your own domain name is always preferable over using a free site, as it lends an authentic feel that tells people they're dealing with a real company that's serious about their online business ventures.

Be sure to include your website address on all of your marketing materials, both online and off. Your business cards, banner ads, forum and blog posts, as well as every article you submit for publication should all have your site's URL, which should be something easy to spell and remember.

Global Promotion Using Articles

Successful global promotion must include a set plan that features a number of effective methods for spreading the word about your business or products. The distribution of press releases announcing important details and providing a newsworthy story about your business, as well as submitting your articles to article databases and posting them on blogs, will also help to get your name recognized quickly.

A well-written, full-length article on a particular niche or topic is a perfect addition to the innumerable snippets of information the many popular blogs feature. But wherever you decide post your articles, don't forget the all-important resource box for providing the pertinent details people will need to do business with you. This, of course, will include your website and email addresses, but may also include a brief biography about you or your company, along with other bits of contact data such as location and telephone or fax numbers.

Providing Accurate, Useful Information

By providing accurate information in your articles along with an irresistible or enticing offer when people arrive at your website, the chances of converting the casual visitor into a paying customer dramatically increase. It definitely pays off in the long run to take the time to explore and thoroughly research all avenues when it comes to expanding your business globally using article marketing and the various related techniques for increasing customer base and revenue.

Email Marketing

Email marketing can be an excellent way to globally promote your business, either through legitimate lists of email addresses that you can purchase, or through lists that you've collected yourself from visitors who've been to your site, or through some other means of internet marketing. Email marketing is similar to the direct mail type, but without the need to spend money on postage and mailing expenses, and is also the perfect extension to article marketing.

Global marketing utilizing the benefits of article marketing truly is the easiest and most cost-effective way of expanding business and your contacts, as well as reaching new and impressive sales records that may not have been possible before.

What most people do not know is that not all incoming links are given the same weight, and that the incoming, non reciprocal links are given more importance.

They are many ways to get inbound links to your site without having to give out reciprocal links or put out alot of cash. Here are just a few ideas.

* Good website content. You must make sure that your website is full of useful, informative content. When you have a lot of relevant content other website owners will want to link to your website because it will be a great resource to them and their visitors. Some examples of good content are ebooks, a newsletter, tools and software, free articles, tips that are related to your website, and a blog that is updated daily with new material.

Search engines and directories try to locate the websites that offer something valuable and unique to the Internet. People actually link to sites simply because they find the content useful.

* Testimonials. If you happen to find an interesting, informative website then send a testimonial to the website owner. They may give you a link to your website if they post your testimonial on their website. These links all add up and are important for search engine ranking.

* Online Directories. There are many online directories that you can submit your website to. This helps with getting inbound links to your site. Some of the directories require you to pay or provide a reciprocal link. But, there are many online directories that will accept your submission for free and with no reciprocal link.

Just do some research to determine which ones are free, or if you have the extra cash, go ahead and pay up (or you can send some my way).

* Content Articles. One of the best ways to get inbound links to your website is through article marketing. Interesting, informative, professionally written articles with the appropriate content can provide you with targeted traffic and high quality permanent links to your web site.

It is very important that your articles contain your targeted keywords and that they read well!

You can submit articles to websites, ezines, and article directories. An easy way to get your article published is to go to Google or Yahoo groups and do a search for "Internet Articles Publishing". Get involved with some of the groups, this will allow you to find websites that are looking for articles.

Do not forget to put information about yourself, with a link to your website in the resource box of the article, as this will open up the potential for many inbound links to your website. Articles can be the most time consuming of link building tasks when you take into consideration the time it takes to write and submit the article. A helpful tip is to make sure you add the locations of the article submission sites to a folder in your "Favorites". This will save time when you go to submit new articles.

* Free Ebook. Alot of people think that ebooks are hard to write and could take a long time to put together, but you can actually create one in no time. You can make it a collection of your favorite tools, resources and articles that are related to your website. As long as the ebook is considered useful by your visitors then they may link to your website for a copy or agree to offer your ebook on their website. Make sure you include links to your website in the ebook.

* Blogs. Combining a link-building campaign with blogs will give you alot of exposure for your business or program. Blogs are another tool that many entrepreneurs are using to produce great results. Because Blogs are updated with content on a regular basis they tend to rank higher then normal websites.

What most people don't realize is that Blogs are free and take just a few minutes to set up!

The easiest way to get inbound links with blogs is to simply host one on your website and update it frequently. Blogs are linked to more often because the content is being constantly updated. You will also get more inbound links with blogs when you submit it to blog directories. Do a search on Google for "free blog directory" and you will find many directories that you can submit to for free.

* Host a free article directory. Why not create an article directory on your website and have visitors submit articles to it? You can then request a link back to your website in exchange for the article submission. This will improve your inbound links while also creating free content for your website.

* Get listed in the major directories. Yahoo and the Open Directory Project are two of the most important directories at present. The Open Directory Project is free but it can be difficult to get a listing approved because they only list sites with original content that do not have alot of affiliate links. Inclusion in the Open Directory Project and Yahoo is well worth the effort and will be very helpful in boosting the standing for your site in search engine results.

There are also many smaller directories that are set up for particular areas of interest. Getting listed in them will take some time, but persistence will pay off, not only in your search engine page ranking but in bringing targeted traffic to your website. A few visitors to your website that are interested in what you have to offer are more valuable then many uninterested visitors.

It is also important to make sure that any sites you link to are related to your topic. You can use search engines to find related sites, and by linking to sites that have a high page ranking in the search engines you will provide your site with more exposure.

Remember that non reciprocal links are more important for search engine ranking because they are not reciprocated (search engines can actually detect whether links are reciprocal) and they do not have to be monitored as reciprocal links.

Here's one last tip, do a search on the keywords that you want to improve your search engine ranking for. From these results use the domains of the sites that rank above your own, and go to Yahoo and enter, linkdomain:www.site that rank above yours.com. Contact the web sites that resulted from the linkdomain search and ask them to link to your site. Do this for each of the linkdomain searches.

The ideas above offer the most consistently over time and even though they may seem time consuming, are well worth the effort.

I wish you success in building your inbound link network, and even though it will take time and effort, done right, the rewards will be worth it!

Perfecting Your Squeeze Page

You can make a lot of money on the Internet. Those who are the most successful make the bulk of their money from their lists. To be truly successful, you need a large (and growing) list. List building is one area where size really does matter, the bigger your list, the bigger your income. And the better your squeeze page, the faster your list will grow.

A squeeze page is web page where visitors sign in and subscribe to your list. The primary (first) link in all of my articles will point to my squeeze page.

With each article I write, I have two goals in mind. My primary goal is to entice readers to opt into my list. My second objective is to offer some sort of promotional sale item that viewers may be interested in buying. Granted, only a very small percentage of people will make a purchase after seeing a single article, but it is money just the same. Follow the guidelines below to build that perfect squeeze page and start generating those huge long-term profits.

Make sure your opt in box is above the fold, that means, you will see this box without having to page up, page down, or otherwise use your mouse. Your opt in box should have a place of prominence on your page. Ive heard some people say that they increased the conversion percentages substantially by moving their opt in box to the top. Although I must admit, I have not done that sort of research, so I cant be certain about that.

There should never be any distractions on your squeeze page. No ads of any kind, no links, no nothing! Your one and only goal is to convince the reader to opt in. Do not give your visitors an opportunity to click on an item and leave your page.

Your long-term success depends upon the quality and quantity of your list. Dont be afraid to tweak your squeeze page. Then, make sure you test the results to see which page performed better. Remember, the long-term money is in your list, and the size of your list is directly related to the quality of your squeeze page. The information in this article is taken from an excerpt of my ebook, Super Charge Your List, which is available at my website.

Internet Based - Affiliate Marketing - Article Marketing

How does writing Articles fit into Internet Marketing?

One of the main strategies that I have used when I first started Internet Marketing was writing Articles. In fact this article that you are reading now was created on a Article based web site called EzineArticles.com. There are many pros to writing articles and putting them out online to help you with your Internet Based - Affiliate Marketing.

With the new Web 2.0 and blogging sites popping up all over the internet today, it is quickly becoming the newest wave to hit the world wide web. Like it or not, it is here to stay. What Web 2.0 is all about, is social networking with like minded groups of people. This way people can belong to different blogs or groups that match their interests.

Well if you are good at writing, even the tiniest amount, then writing articles to put on blogs will help you on your marketing efforts. Articles, such as product reviews, specification documents, how-to, etc can all be used in conjunction with blogs and marketing your product or service.

The other great thing about article marketing is that it is free. This is truly a strategy that every beginning internet marketer should be using as it helps get your mindset focused on how to be creative in selling your product or service. The more you do it, the better you get, and ultimately when done right, the more money you will make. This is such a great strategy that everyone from beginners to pros need to be consistent with as you want to market to the pulse of the audience that you are targeting.

Why I recommend also recommend article marketing because you can earn money to fund more advanced strategies like PPC (pay per click). This is a very smart move on your part to do it this way. Too many people try Internet Marketing by using their hard earned dollars first, then jump right in and spend, spend, spend on course that is out there. Tossing money at PPC is also highly risky when you do not know what you are doing. What happens is you get frustrated, broke and give up. Don't let this happen to you. Go the article marketing route, get the pleasure of earning some cash, then use that money to fund your business. It is a win-win at this point. Build Links with Blog Comments

Relevance and Link Popularity are two main things we take into account when building links to our website. This means that we are looking for web pages that are relevant to the theme of our site and have high link popularity. Where is the best place to find those pages? Social Networks.

You can visit most popular bookmark sites, for example digg, and use their search to find what you want. You can enter the keywords like "link building" and the search will show you a lot of blogs related to your keywords. Then sort the blogs by the most diggs. You'll get a page filled with stories that have been made popular based on the topic you're looking for and chances are they'll all have hundreds (if not thousands) of inbound links to that particular page alone.

You open a blog that has more diggs and see if it is the one you can leave a comment on. Since the comments system has been introduced, it's very simple to write a comment. When you submit a comment on other people's blog, you are usually asked to provide your name, email address, URL and comment text itself. Did you catch the idea? Yes, you use your keyword anchor text as your name. When your comment is posted, your URL is attached to the text you entered in the "Name" field and voila... you have one more backlink to your website. For example, instead of typing "Julia" as your name, type "Directory Submission Software", or whatever your site's top keywords are.

And... be sure to write something useful in the comment section, so it doesn't look like 100% spam. Post a comment only if you have something of value to add to the discussion and not just to get links. Your comment will be pending for approval and blog owners are much more likely to approve your comment if it is relevant. Remember, the only cost of your new backlink is a comment. So, take a few moments to write a meaningful comment. Note that you may not insert any links into the text of your comment because you already have a link in your name.

The key thing is to add a good comment. Most webmasters understand that people make their "name" something relevant to their site and they do not begrudge them a link if their comment adds to the content/discussion on their site. You can read the comments which are already posted by others and follow suite.

Many blog owners don't like to see keyword links in the comment "Name" field and will promptly delete the comments. Thus, you can use something like "Julia - Directory Submitter" as your name. That way it's still personal, but you get your keywords in the link. Other blog owners may not like the link in the name and will remove it.

The lesson here is that you can get quality inbound links from blogs if you're willing to do the work. Do not forget to visit every blog you posted your comment on and check if the comment was approved and if everything is in place (your name and link). This way you will discover the blogs where your comments are worth posting.

Once you find the blogs that allows you keep those kinds of comments, you can greatly reduce your workload by posting only to those blogs.

I've just scratched the surface in the article presented. You can find a lot more valuable information about how to increase your site popularity by building quality one way links here: Link Building Guide

I've got a blog called "SeoCombat's Internet Marketing Blog" that focuses on methods to increase traffic from Google and on link building tips.

SEO Techniques That Power Search Engine Rankings

Search engine optimization is the art of upholding the search engine ranking of your web page. And this art is crafted by artisans called SEOs, who can feel the pulse of web and move with a bang followed by cutting-edge optimization techniques. There are innumerable tools and techniques of a successful optimization. A few are outlined below:

  • Link Building: Link building is an effective tool of search engine optimization. For a sound optimization, you need to exchange links from those who share interest similar to you. It is good to stare at those links which are worth important and share with those who are having a good page rank. Search engine usually do not consider those sites, which have no link/s pointing to its web page/s. Apart from giving links, you should check twice if someone is requesting you for a link exchange. Check out his site, its subject, page rank, value. If nothing is worrying you, add his link.
  • Web Site Design: For those, who want to get indexed, web site design is of great importance. It's good to go for a design that appeals but it shouldn't be over emphasized. Opt for a design that speaks for you more than itself. If possible stay away from flash websites. Give due importance to text content than HTML. Use all the latest and graphic designing tools to make it relevant and appropriate. However, shed those who sound too much.
  • Title tag and Alt Tag: Title tag has its necessary importance in a successful search engine optimization. Put title tag in every single web page. Put exact keyword for a web page in the title-tag. Alt tag is equally important. While optimizing, you should put the main keyword/s in Alt tag. But restrain from over doing the same.
  • Page size: Size matters! To let the robots spider your web page faster, you need to mull over the size of your web page. It is suggested to keep your website page between 5k and 15k in size. Anything more or less might create troubles to open-up your web page.
  • Content: Content is king. And this king is not backed by soldiers but by keywords. Search out the right keywords, add matters according to the context and get it uploaded. Optimize the site regularly and you are sure to garner innumerable clicks a day.

Above are a few of many important tools of a successful search engine optimization. The main purpose of it is upgrading the essential value and dignity of any website. And in course of doing the same, they decide, discover and develop. If every technique could be adapted and implemented thoroughly, your website will feature at the top of search engine rankings.

Article Marketing to Generate Links

Article Marketing has the flexibility to embed links alongside with its contents. The beauty of this is that you can actually embed numerous links you want as long as they do not disrupt the entire content. The purpose of injecting links on the site is primarily to direct visitors to the website where you want him to go. This is done because you would like to generate traffic on the site that you linked with.

When an article writer submits his material to other links, he is cognizant of the fact that this link is capable of generating enough traffic on its own. This is the reason why you wanted your article to be published on that site in the first place. Along with the article that you have written are the inbound links that can lead to your own website or a link that will capture the visitors e-mal address to be stored on your list. In which case, you are able to generate a way with your article to further promote your product or your service.

The issue that goes along with this is that more often than not, the articles that are being submitted and published on the site does not yield much visitors because the article does not have the proper content to capture visitors attention. Now to remedy this, the article writer must be able to re-design or re write the article material that can best fit the needs of the prospective clients. The inbound links on the article must properly worded or phrased so that they would not look like too much of an advertisement that consuming public hates.

Article Marketing - Hook The Reader

Article marketing is an advertising technique. An engaging article is used to hook the reader, and provide basic information and education. The articles are succinct and quickly pull the reader in. By providing the reader with a start, they can help the reader to locate additional information and services of interest to them. Article marketing is a new but powerful approach to business.

By utilizing the tactical placement of words, the article that was written is flagging what is known as the internet spiders, all while the reader is being engaged. If these keywords are placed just right, the site will gain a high rank with the search engines but not seem overly wordy or riddled with keywords.

If you are able to write one of these articles a day, you will be a great asset to your company. Adding these articles each day will make your rating on various search engines go up. You do not have to do very much work to make your business look good and gain new visitors with article marketing.

The most important thing to remember when you are going to use article marketing for your website is that you must use unique articles each time you post something new. Copies of articles and anything that is not unique content will not help you gain a higher rating or customer base. Customers do not want to see the same old thing everywhere that they look.

To this end, it is important to create a new and fresh article each day. This will keep your old readers interested and will make your business look experienced to your new readers. The more people that are interested in your articles, the more likely you are to sell more products. In the end, you gain profit.

As a growing area of marketing nowadays, the use of articles is a highly successful approach to selling products or services. Be sure to publish fresh ideas which haven't been published elsewhere online. Doing this will enable you both to realize a profit and increase your rating in the popular search engines with a minimum of effort.

Article marketing is a new way of advertising. These articles are very interesting and designed to hook the reader. This is a new and very strong approach to the world of business. All articles written are very unique articles, you must make sure that the article are unique to keep readers interested. Another key factor is unique content, which is just as important to keep the readers hooked. You want to make sure that the articles are interesting and grab attention. They must also keep the readers attention so that customers keep coming back.

Can SEO Software Bring Targeted Traffic?

Is Your Traffic Just Window-Shopping?

In order to better understand the importance of targeted traffic, let's consider an offline business scenario. Take any ordinary shopping mall; malls generally generate large amounts of consumer traffic. But how many of those people actually come to the mall to buy something? Think about it- the majority of people who come to malls are window shoppers- they may look into your store but they probably won't buy anything.

Now compare this to a single store that isn't in a mall. This store might not generate that much traffic but the traffic that does come in usually translates into sales. For example, people who specifically come into a pet store are probably looking to buy something, rather than just browse. Effective SEO software essentially gives you the best of both worlds- you get mall traffic that consists of single-store customers, looking to make a purchase.

SEO And You

It's obvious that when it comes to SEO software, you need a package that will bring in traffic that will actually boost your business. There is no point in generating loads of traffic when less than five percent of it translates into sales. If you're thinking of doing some SEO for your business, you need to make sure your methods target the appropriate niche audiences. For example, if your online business is related to software, then your keywords, descriptions and advertising should be geared towards people who are not just interested in software, they should also be interested in making a software purchase.

But can all this be done by simply using SEO? The answer is yes, but you need to know your options first. There are consultancy firms and professionals who will take care of all your SEO needs for you- but they are expensive. You'll need at least $500 to get started and if your keywords are competitive, the rates will rise. On the other hand, SEO software is a lot less expensive and can be just as effective.

Before you invest in SEO software, make sure it takes care of link analysis, keyword density and keyword prominence in your website. Your software should also keep an eye on your competitors for you- this includes noting IP addresses and keeping an eye on Alexa ratings. In terms of the SEO software itself, remember that it should be easy to use. A good software package will come with tutorials and instruction manuals to help you navigate the software. Regular software upgrades are also a must- as trends in SEO keep changing; your software should be equipped to deal with newer methods and situations.

Workable Google Page Rank Booster

Search Engine Optimization includes two kinds of activity which labeled as On-Page Optimization and Off-Page Optimization. Nowadays, a lot of webmasters thought that if they have already optimized their site (optimize meta tags, keywords and contents - On-Page Optimization); they just can wait for the Free Traffic coming from the Search Engine. That is wrong at this Information Age! There is still another activity they must do which is Off-Page Optimization or better known as "Link Popularity" (How popular is your website in the view of other websites).

In order to get a "Link Popularity", your site must HAVE what we called as Back Link. There are two kinds of Back Link:

1. One-way Back Link

It is possible for your site to get One-Way Back Link if your website content is good in the view of other webmasters. So, they link to us, but we don't link back to them.

2. Two-way Back Link (Link Exchange)

In order to find a good Back Link, follow this rule of thumbs:

1. Your website content must have a qualify content

2. Find site which has the same topic or keyword with your website content

3. Find a link partner which has a high Google PageRank and the site that they kept your link do not contain more than 50 (fifty) links.

4. Get Back Link from different IP address

By using this kind of a good Back Link, it can help to boost your Google PageRank also. Remember, SEO method usually takes time, so please allow some time to pass when you want to implement the Google PageRank Booster method that I am going to describe in here, but as you get accustomed with it, you will find it easy to implement every time you find a niche market.

How to boost your Google PageRank?

1. Create a lot of articles within your niche market with the correct keywords and correct phrases to describe what your website is all about. I suggest that your website at least must contain around 50-100 pages. If you do not have time in creating article, you can use the PLR (Private Label Articles) that are sold, but remember not to copy directly the PLR content as your website content. It is always a good idea to modify it.

2. Create an internal links in between your website content. I recommend you to create at least 30-50 internal links.

3. Update your content often and on a consistent schedule. Search Engine love freshly updated content.

4. Create Back Link to your website from others blogs, forums, directories, Web 2.0, etc.

You need to generate at least 10,000 links so that you can get Google PageRank of 5. Don't be dazed with the 10,000 links. When you website reached 150 pages of content with forty or more links to other pages, Google's spiders will count these insider links as 6,000 links on condition that your website's content is alike. Please allow some time for this method to work.

Internet Marketing is BOTH an Art and a Science

Depending on your nature you probably look at Internet marketing, all marketing for that matter, as a numbers game. You send "x" number of letters, faxes, or emails and you get "y" results. So you concentrate your efforts on activities geared to increasing the percentage of replies. It's a numbers game to you.

Others place the vast majority of their effort on why they are marketing what and to whom. While their counterparts above will blast the message to a wide audience hoping for a few sales of leads, these marketers will send very very few messages to the precise individuals they want as customers, expecting that they will be able to move every one of them from suspect to prospect to first level customer to key account.

In fact the most effective Internet marketers combine the art and the science better than the unsuccessful marketers - because it takes both to achieve optimum results. And that is why we collected several hundred articles by experts from both camps.

Our mission is to provide resources for business owners and professional solution providers and it occurred to us that offering the widest range of opinions makes more sense than trying to tell you that we have all the answers.

In the nav bar on our web site we have a link to our "Internet Control Panel" where we describe how we are using the Internet to grow our business, but your business is likely very different and you have different goals, objectives, strengths, weaknesses, contacts, etc. If you visit that page and those connected to it you might find a tool or strategy you can integrate into what you are already doing, or not I don't know.

One reason we have so many articles about Internet marketing, in several different article sub-directories, is because of the discussion going on hot and heavy between those who believe in push marketing and those who prefer pull marketing.

Pull marketing is about having such a compelling offering in such an attractive package and available especially for people like them that they can't resist. If you want to know what pull marketing looks like check out a fly fishing video.

In fly fishing the "fly" at the end of an incredibly long fishing line connected to a very long fly rod, never seems to touch the water. The fish keep looking up as the "fly' dances tantalizingly just above the surface. Eventually they can stand it no longer and leap out of the stream and grab the "fly" in mid air.

That's how your pull marketing should work too. And since there are so many ways to approach it we've collected many different explanations in numerous articles.

When people think of push marketing they usually think of email marketing. That's because it is an economical, compelling, and direct marketing tool. If done right it will drive responses in impressive numbers and with today's technology it can be personalized endlessly. But that doesn't make it easy or simple to do.

Email's just a tool and so it is only as effective as the person or company using it. And the same elements to consider as any other direct marketing tool still apply before you send the email, during the process itself (delivery issues for example) and after the campaign is over - when you work to figure out what went right, what went wrong, and what you'll do differently next time.

Among the articles in the Internet Marketing article directory are various examples and strategies that will make your next email marketing endeavor more effective.

And because there are so many articles, 2,500 plus, you will save time by using the keyword based internal search engine in the nav bar. That's also true because often articles written about something other than Internet marketing contain just the nuggets you are looking for.

Finally, we all tend to look for other people's opinions to support our own. Then when things don't work we have someone else to blame. I encourage you to resist that temptation here and read articles on both sides of whatever strategy you are considering. Then make a well considered business opinion based on the whole story.

Remember, it is easier (and more cost effective) to do it right the first time, than it is to do it over!
