Viral marketing is a methods of list building

There are multiple methods of list building, and if you are just getting started, until you have gained mastery over one or two methods, it is advisable to use multiple methods of list building strategies. You’ll see every step of the process, no matter how small, in exacting detail so

Even if you have a ton of money to pay for advertising, there are four key strategies to marketing on a shoestring that will in the long run that will build your brand and create links that will ultimately be far more effective than any paid advertising that you may do. In fact, paid advertising is typically only effective while you are using it and after the money has run out, you are back to square one. If you use these strategies, however, the effect is long lasting and provides a solid basis for a real internet business. The four strategies are:

1:List building. You have always heard that the money is in your list and this is a time proven method of business building. You will need a good opt-in page and a good autoresponder. For an opt-in page, you have several options. You can find free ones on the net just by doing a Google search, you can easily build your own or some of the better business opportunities will have a built-in opt-in page. The other thing that you need is a good autoresponder an this is one area that spending a little money will save you a ton of heartache. You can get a top of the line autoresponder for less than $20 a month and be assured that you will have a near 100% delivery rate. With the free or cheap ones, you will get what you pay for.

2.Article Marketing. The internet has a voracious appetite for fresh content. Ezines, newsletters, websites and blogs are always looking for fresh content. In article marketing, you write a simple content rich article that people can use and you will find you name being spread all over the internet. Make sure that you adhere to the article directories policies and don't ever try to advertise in an article. If your article is interesting, the reader may click on your signature information and this is what links to your business offering. This is probably the single best method of free marketing. Not only does it build your reputation as an expert in the field but, it also produces links back to your website or blog.

3. Forum Marketing. No matter what your niche is there is a forum that is dedicated to it. It doesn't matter if it is internet marketing or dog grooming, there is a community of like minded individuals who want to hear what you have to say. Typically, unless specifically allowed, you should not try to advertise in your posts. Let your signature do your advertising. If you can help someone answer a question and your comment is information rich, they will click on your signature for more information about you. There is a land-mine to watch out for. If your comment is not valid, contains misinformation or is overtly commercial, you can destroy your reputation just as fast as you can build it.

4.Blogging. Not only do you want your own blog but, you also want to comment on other peoples blogs. Just remember to treat this just the same as you would Forum Marketing. On your own blog, you can, of course, directly advertise but people came to your blog for information and not simply to hear a sales pitch. Let your links do your advertising for you and make sure that your blog is content rich. If you can help your reader become successful, they will also help you to also become a success. Wordpress has recently prohibited blogs that are for the purpose of affiliate marketing. However, you can still use Wordpress on your own site and there are also a number of companies offering your own blog with free hosting. Just Google "free blog hosting". Make sure you read the Terms of Service (TOS) before signing on to one of these free hosts.

Although these methods will not have the sudden impact that PPC ads have, they will have long lasting results that will build a solid business base for you.

Do you really need an Internet marketing business coach to succeed online?

To answer this question, I will look at that I've done over the lase two years and show you my online business growth.

As you probably guessed, or if you read some of my other articles, you know that I started my Internet business on a shoestring. I didn't even have the cash to pay a web hosting. No need to tell you that I couldn't afford a coach at this time.

Although I didn't have any money, I managed to get into a coaching program. I was struggling to make a decent amount of money, but a few weeks after a got a Internet marketing coach, I've made my first sale, and then many others.

Then, I've been scammed by this coach like all the other participants in this program. Anyway, I learned a lot of things that work, and I made thousands of dollars since this time.

I recognize that I was a little bit lost in this big Internet world after I left this mentor (he never paid us).

After spending months of surfing, reading emails and not earning any real money, I decided that it was the time to get a new coach to take my business to the next level. I had a couple of websites earning a few hundreds dollars, but I needed to take this to the next level.

I got a new mentor who made a video review of one of my websites. I implemented every single suggestion he made, and I was able to take this site from zero to earning several thousands of dollars a month in only a few weeks.

Take my words for it and find a mentor if you really want to take your online business to the next level.

Making Money with Your Blog!

A place for finding the Nuts and Bolts for Making Money Online with Affiliate Marketing Business Opportunity!

There are six main reasons why article marketers fail at this marketing journey and you should try your best to stay clear from these pitfalls. Don't try to think that you can be one of a kind and leisure your way into one of these horrible article marketing pitfalls, or you just might get stuck!

How you can fail at article marketing.

  • You stop writing articles. This is the most popular reason why people fail at article marketing. They just stop writing articles. Either because they're too lazy or they think that after they're done writing 1-10 articles they're done. This is rarely true. To tell you the truth, you probably won't see great results on your keyword until you write about 300 articles. That's the plain truth and there is no going around it. To stop writing articles is the number one reason why people fail at article marketing.

  • Your content in not valuable to their readers. Meaning that your articles don't give any kind of valuable information to your readers when they're done reading their articles. So in short, your articles are pretty much worthless. Article marketers think that just writing articles will get them the traffic and profits they want, but this is only true if you actually give your readers some information!

  • You only write articles at one article hosting server. By doing this, they miss out on tons of publicity! There are other great article hosting servers out there, you just have to research in order to find them and write your articles there.

  • You don't write unique articles. By this, I mean that you try to duplicate content trying to find the easy way out. Duplicate content does not get ranked on google, the most used search engine. The only way duplicate content can get ranked, is if the duplicate get's more inbound links than the original or other duplicates. This is a much harder task than simply writing your own unique articles.

These are just simple ways that some article marketers fail at their article marketing efforts. Try your best to stay away from these pitfalls and you will succeed!

Three Things You Must Do Before You Submit To Article Directories

Have you ever been horrified and intimidated at the convoluted, jargon-reliant information about Internet marketing available on the Net?

Often it results in many companies becoming confused and therefore reluctant to put into practice what would be a valuable and simple business resource when understood and applied correctly.

Market Research consultant for Inteltab, Gordon Goodfellow, who is also an English literature graduate, decided it was time for a change. Part of this desire to make Internet marketing more accessible may be due to his past experience as a teacher.

"I was sick of all the gobbledegook that surrounds the Internet, even today," he explains.

"Marketing on the Net isn't rocket science and should not be presented as such. Everyone should have access to it. That's the beauty of it."

Having spent four years researching and assessing the best way of getting an effective message across on the Internet, he began to design a basic introduction to Internet marketing. The result of this hard work is Applied Web Marketing. AWM is a comprehensive beginners guide to marketing on the Internet, covering everything from domain names to e-commerce and merchant accounts, and written in plain English. This is designed for the small business user and the home business user who does not want to spend a fortune on outside "experts".

The key to most of Internet marketing is search engine optimisation. The key to good search engine optimisation is keyword research. In other words, knowing which keywords or search terms people are using to find what theyre looking for on the Internet. If keyword research is done properly then there is no doubt that you will get highly targeted visitors to your website. This is obviously the professional way of going about things. It is the antithesis to the "spam" approach (unsolicited commercial emails) which achieves extremely poor results and simply annoys anyone unfortunate enough to be on the receiving end.

But which search engine should you optimise for? The search engine of choice at the moment is Google. There are two good reasons for this. Firstly, Google is the most popular search engine on the Internet today. It is known for the quality and relevance of its search results, and so people trust it. Secondly, over the last couple of years Google has joined alliances with other search engines and directories. AOL and Netscape share Googles search findings, so youll have similar search results on the AOL and Netscape databases. Other lesser databases also rely on Google, so that if you are well represented on Google, then youll be well represented on over sixty per cent of Internet search facilities.

Yahoo, the world's most popular directory, has since launched its own search engine, which makes it now a main competitor to Google (in the past Yahoo took its own results from Google's database). You can still submit your site to Yahoo for free, but expect a listing to take several weeks. For a more immediate effect you may wish to explore Yahoo's alliance with Pay Per Click engine Overture.

Microsoft is also said to be developing its own search engine as part of its MSN sphere of influence. Expect this to be a major player as well.

You should also obtain a listing on the Open Directory Project (DMOZ.org) which is not much known about but very well respected in the search engine optimisation industry. The Open Directory does not use the normal search engine "spiders" or robot searchers; instead it uses over thirty thousand volunteer human editors who are ostensibly experts in their own fields. The theory behind this is that it ensures relevancy, accuracy and quality of all listings. A listing in DMOZ will therefore ensure a listing on Google and probably earn you an enhanced ranking there. Then all the others, like Yahoo, AOL, Netscape, MSN and the rest are bound to follow.

Optimisation is everything. The Applied Web Marketing website itself has the number one position on Google out of 1.47 million search results for the search term "applied web marketing".

After optimisation is the submission process. Perceived wisdom of the moment says it is best to submit manually. Manual submissions to dozens of search engines and directories can be very time-consuming, however. There are some good automated and semi-automated software packages available out there to do the submissions for you. But for the major players do find the time for manual submissions. Some search engines, for example Alta Vista, make it impossible for automated submission by software programs, because of individualised text codes that must be entered by hand at the start of the submission process, so you have to submit to Alta Vista manually as well. But that just takes about three minutes.

Dont bother with ads that say that they can "blast your web site to 500,000 search engines". There arent that many search engines; theres only a few hundred in total, and only about a dozen of any major importance. Youll just pay your money and be very disappointed. Most of these so-called search engines are link farms, FFA or free-for-all sites, which nobody every looks at, and which are responsible chiefly for sending out spam. If you link to such web sites you risk being penalised by the bona fide search engines.

The next thing to have lots of is patience. A listing on Google should probably appear within a couple of weeks if you have optimised your pages roperly. Incidentally, if you have multiple pages on your web site, as is mostly the case, it is important only to submit the index or home page, and let Googles spider "Googlebot" to find and index the other pages itself using the links that you should have set up on your site.

The Applied Web Marketing guide has useful links to many resources, lots of them completely free, and to the submission pages of the major search engines and directories, making it a perfect site to begin your journey into the world of Internet marketing.

Article marketing is used to dominate a keyword. But aspiring article marketers don't tend to know how to do it. Are you ready to learn? Here it is.

You have to write countless amounts of articles. That's right. Writing is your key to success as an article marketer. You have to write hundreds of articles about your topic and just flood out the market with your information. When you do this, you will absolutely dominate the keyword your using. You can easily dominate any keyword if you write enough articles. Just keep writing.

The more that you write, the more Google thinks of you as a reliable resource, so Google will increase your page rankings. This is the greatest marketing tactic you will ever receive! Google loves articles! So don't be surprised if your article just dominates your competition and gets you landed on the first page of Google. This is completely normal! Many have beaten out their competition with articles and it's easy to do.

You just have to do what I told you, write and write and write. You can easily make more than 30 articles a week. Just put about 1 hour a day into your article marketing and by the end of the month you'll have more than 100 articles working for you. Every article you have is an opportunity to make a sale. You just have to work hard enough, and soon, the profits will come your way.

You don't have to write Shakespeare. In fact, you shouldn't. Writing Shakespeare will just take way to long and too hard. You have to flood the market as fast and as much as you can. This is the key to article marketing.
