Web Site Marketing Strategy - Article Submission To Article Directories

Every website needs traffic. Its pretty simple really. No matter how wonderful your website design is, it will just squander in no man's land if no one ends up visiting it. Obviously, if you have a business enterprise being run on your web site, the need for traffic becomes an absolute necessity, since without traffic, no one visits the site which means you get no business. Your automatic recurring income stream is dependent on the number of visitors you will receive as you drive traffic to your web site.

As far as getting web site traffic goes, there are many ways to accomplish this. There are some that market a guaranteed number of "hits" if you pay a specific price per quantity of hits. There are some companies that offer deliver bulk traffic for a certain period of time, say for a month or two if you pay a certain price. Then there are viral marketing campaigns in which you have a product embedded with your web site link that gets passed around (usually for free) to other marketers. After a while, your website link is in view of a lot different people and if the links are clicked, your web site receives traffic.

These methods of driving web site traffic are well and good; some offer more benefit than others, most definitely. These methods, especially lead or "targeted" hit purchases, will cost you significant dollars over time and may or may not prove to be beneficial for the money.

I have found one tactic that will definitely drive targeted web site traffic to your site.

The method I am talking about to get more web site traffic is called article submission marketing. It is a powerful strategy that will end up giving you many backlinks to your web site, without you having to lift a finger once your articles have been submitted to article directories. Because of this, article marketing is now very popular among the internet marketers.

How does article submission marketing work? Well, all you have to do is to write an article on a topic that has some informative content to it. The topic of your article should obviously be about what your web site is about. This is so that people that read would read your article, will also be interested in going to your web site, because the content of the article and the content of the web site are based on the same or a similar topic.

You don't even really need to know much about the subject you are writing the article about since there are resources available that you can use to provide a baseline that would have enough informative content in it to get your article started. Generally, a 350 to 900 word article is all that is needed.

Once you have written the article, you need to submit it to an article directory to get it published. There are many article directories to submit to. A few good article directories I know of are mentioned here http://www.theonlinearticleplace.com, http://www.goarticles.com, http://www.articlefactory.com, http://www.ezinearticles.com, http://www.articlemarketer.com and http://www.articlecity.com. Once the article submission is completed to one article directory, continue to submit to others.

At the very end of your article, you should include a resource box. The resource box contains a short bio about you as well as a link to your web site. Then, once your article has been submitted to many article directories, your link on the directory will provide a one way backlink to your web site, which is great for search engines to recognize your site as one that is relevent for the topic you wrote about (and what your website is about).

Now, every time a user visits the article directory and reads your article, three benefits would result:

1. In the mind of the reader, you would be branded as an expert of the topic you wrote about.

2. Your link will get exposure from article submission to any directories it ends up on.

3. Copies of your article may be put on a reader's own web site, giving you even more backlinks from those new sites your article is now hosted on.

Article directories appear prominently in search engine results because of all the content they contain. If you have written your articles to make good use of relevant keywords of your topic, there would be a better chance that the page where it will be hosted would appear in the results page of many related search queries. Article submission marketing is the best and cheapest way to get backlinks that you could ever want in the world of web site marketing!

Additionally, editors of electronic magazines, or eZines, as well as webmasters, regularly browse through article directories looking for articles they could use as content for their newsletters or their sites. If they find your article to be of interest and decide to copy it for republishing, they may providing they keep your resource box intact. This is to avoid copyright infringement. When this is done, it gives your link even more exposure because now it is being hosted on even more web sites, article dirtectories, ezines, etc.

The best thing about having your article on other web sites is that the article directories will never delete hosted articles. The possibility of your article getting picked up by editors and webmasters the world over would go on and on for as long as your article is there in the article directories.

Obviously, possessing some writing skills would make the process easier. But if you are not blessed with such skills, or if you simply dont have the time to prepare your own articles, you could always hire the services of a ghostwriter. The going rate of a 500 word article these days is somewhere in the vicinity of $5 to $15. Any amount below this range would be a bargain. Just make sure that the ghostwriter is perfectly qualified for the job and that he formally agrees to provide you with original material.

Imagine the power of article submission marketing when your mass quantites of articles are submitted to the many article directories. Talk about bang for the buck - or in this case no bucks!

In summary, article submission marketing is simply amazing in its simplicity and power. If you have not yet tried this strategy, do so as soon as possible, and it will be sure not to fail you.

Profitable Article Marketing - Announcing 4 Intermediate Ways to Explode Your Article Marketing

Content-based marketing solutions are taking the internet by storm because they offer people the hottest commodity online - information. One of these solutions that is widely used by billions of marketers is article marketing or the process of writing and distributing your articles online to position yourself as an expert on your chosen niche and earn unlimited quality inbound links for your website.

Here are the 4 intermediate ways to explode your article marketing:

1. Submit only original articles. If there is one golden rule in article marketing, it would be to never copy somebody else's work. Remember, you are trying to establish your specialized knowledge so you can win the trust of your potential clients. That would never happen if you are stealing somebody else's ideas.

2. Don't advertise on your content. Although it is recommended to pick topics that are related to your offerings, it is a no-no to directly pitch in your products on your articles. Instead, fill your content with valuable information that will be useful to your readers and save your sales pitches for your resource box.

3. Optimize. Give your articles an edge by making them highly searchable online. You can easily do so through the use of keywords and popular search terms on your content.

4. Empathize. As a marketer, you always need to find effective ways on how you can build rapport with your readers so you can easily convert them to potential clients. One of the proven ways in doing this is by showing empathy through your content. Let your readers know that you know where they are coming from and that you have the best solutions to help them resolve their pressing issues. By doing so, your readers will consider you as a trustworthy individual who is after their welfare and not just another marketer who is just after their money.

Breakthrough Article Marketing - Discover 4 Must-Have Ways to Excel at Article Marketing

Article marketing is one of the most uncomplicated tools that you can use in driving quality traffic to your website. In using this marketing strategy, you don't need programming skills or spend your precious time convincing other webmasters to link back to you just to improve your page ranking and augment your page views. You just have to write quality articles that are targeted to the needs of your target market and submit them to publishing sites to obtain quality inbound links. It's that easy!

Here are the 4 must-haves ways to excel at article marketing:

1. Focus on the quality of your articles. You would want your articles to be read and widely distributed online to gain unlimited quality inbound links, correct? Then, you need to make sure that your articles are well-written, content-rich, useful, and highly relevant to your target niche.

2. Optimize. Increase the chances of your articles being read by making them highly searchable online. How? By being familiar with the algorithms of various search engines and learning how to identify and position relevant keywords on your content.

3. Submit your articles on a regular basis. To strengthen your online presence, submit at least 5 articles everyday. The more articles you write and submit, the more quality inbound links you can create for your website. Not only that, you will also send a strong message to your readers that you have so much information to share and that you are really an expert on your chosen niche.

4. Keep your articles short. Don't bore your readers with essay-like articles and limit your content to 300-500 words. If you can't fit all your ideas in this word count, I suggest you create another new article.

Private Practice Strategies: How to Develop Multiple Streams of Psychology Income

Mental health professionals have a wealth of valuable, even crucial, information and expertise in which many people are in need.

One-on-one therapy is only one way we can deliver this expertise and help.

There are a number of possible ways therapists can create revenue streams while sharing their talents, expertise and skills with people in need.

Some of these ways are traditional and common, but others are rather innovative ways therapists are beginning to put their abilities to good use. In doing so, they are creating revenue streams.

Traditional Services

Although its time for therapists to think out of the box and develop new services that creatively meet the felt needs of niche markets, there is a place for the traditional therapeutic services.

These include psychotherapy for the DSM diagnoses, psychological testing and evaluation, marriage and family therapy and behavioral health care.

And, yes, people will forgo managed-care reimbursement and pay out of pocket for services that are of higher value because they are higher quality, offer real privacy and are truly customized for the individual needs.

One of the frustrations I hear from mental health care service consumers is that they cant find a specialized therapist in their managed-care insurance network.

Its as if managed cares philosophy is, Well help you obtain access to psychotherapy, but we dont care whether the therapist we connect you with is a specialist. A generalist is fine.

Set yourself apart and demonstrate your true value in the marketplace through specialization. Many people in the market for therapy value specialization.

Getting Published

A book is a powerful way to affect lives. It is also a good way to establish credibility, highlight your practice and services and position yourself in your niche.

And, its easier than you think if you self-publish. It has become very affordable to do so, and it puts you in charge of the content, price and reprints.

It can actually be more profitable, too. You keep every dollar above your costs. If you went through a major publisher who sells a few thousand books, you would only receive the authors fee. You can make as much selling a few hundred copies of a self-published book yourself.

If your book is successful, you may even attract a large publisher to take over your book.

Writing a book opens doors to speaking engagements, media opportunities and a reputation in your niche market.

It also helps you to crystallize your thinking and enhances your effectiveness as a practitioner; its a great exercise in that sense. You will learn a lot both in breadth and depth.

Take the opportunity now to brainstorm ideas for a book thats inside you.

It doesnt have to be long. One hundred pages is plenty.

Teaching

Teaching courses part-time at a local college or university can be an attractive stream of income.

I have been teaching as adjunct faculty in the Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) program at Widener University outside Philadelphia for several years and find it both rewarding and enjoyable.

Think about areas of special interest on which you could teach a course. Courses that adjunct faculty teach can be core curriculum in a graduate program, an undergraduate course or an elective.

I find that part-time professors who are practioners have a lot to offer because they are immersed in what they teach. Students seem to appreciate this as well.

E-books

E-books are another medium in which you can package and share specialized information.

And e-book is a written piece of information that is distributed via the internet electronically. It is offered free or for a cost (typically $10 to $30) on a web site.

You can also submit an e-book to web sites that list hundreds of e-books to make them available to the public.

Tens of thousands of e-books are downloaded each year, and are changing lives for the better.

Perhaps you can make yours one of them.

Do you have a solution to a specific problem or can you research the answers?

The best e-books share answers to a specific problem.

E-book topics I have heard of recently include: how to write a eulogy, how to cope with a hysterectomy and the topic of recovering from fibromyalgia.

These are e-books written by non-mental health professionals. Imagine what information psychotherapists can offer in this just-in-time format.

E-books cost very little to produce and nothing to distribute. You can attach the file for an e-book to an email or make it downloadable from a web site.

A great e-book is not long. Many of the best are 10 to 35 pages long.

E-books offer short answers to problems readers want to solve, and are available to people quickly.

Good e-books are specific and do not contain general information. The key to marketability is communicating your precise answer to a specific problem.

E-Courses

E-Courses are similar to e-books, but they may be lengthier and delivered to readers one segment at a time. As the name implies, these can be formatted as guided self-study programs.

E-courses allow for the content to be integrated over a specific period of time. Each lesson can be a simple article or more in-depth with guided self-study. Write between five and 10 lessons, and you have a good e-course.

Written by a professional, a good e-course can bridge the gap between a reader learning new information and the reader applying that information to his/her life and making a behavioral change.

Personal Coaching

In sports, coaching is important to help an athlete develop a winning strategy, develop skills and execute the plan. The coach knows how the athlete can progress and move forward. He/she urges the athlete to set high goals and provides motivation, support, focus and encouragement.

Over the past 10 years, the field of professional coaching in personal development and business arenas has grown tremendously.

What is coaching? Personal coaching is a one-on-one professional relationship in which a client is assisted in achieving a personal, business or career goal.

What is the difference between coaching and therapy? Although coaches sometimes assist people with challenges and problems of various kinds, they do not try to help people overcome problems related to diagnosable conditions as found in the DSM.

Rather, coaches assist well-functioning people to attain greater levels of achievement and satisfaction in their personal lives, businesses or careers.

While therapy is remedial and restorative, coaching is developmental and growth-oriented.

Therapy heals mental and emotional infirmities, while coaching helps healthy individuals achieve more or reach important goals.

Personal coaches work with clients on a wide range of issues, such as coping with a problem or crisis, focusing their efforts on achievement, making career transitions, living more fulfilled lives, achieving life goals and building better relationships.

Other coaches assist people with business development or managerial or leadership development. These coaches are called business coaches or executive coaches.

While coaching is not always based on psychology, it often is. And many of the skills a coach uses are the skills in which therapists are trained. So, there is considerable overlap between coaching and therapy.

This is why many psychologists, counselors and therapists have found coaching attractive and transitioned into coaching either entirely or as a part of their practice mix. I am one of them. In many ways, therapists have an ideal background to be coaches. But the differences between coaching and therapy are significant and important to keep in mind.

Therapists can make great coaches because of their insights into human motivation and behavior, their understanding of human development and life transitions, their communication and relationship skill and their sense of professional ethics, knowledge base and experience in helping people.

Live Workshops, Retreats, Trainings

Presenting live events such as seminars, workshops, retreats and training programs can be a very lucrative stream of income.

And, it can be a powerful way to affect peoples lives.

The group setting allows learners to engage with your material and benefit from the collective knowledge and experience of the group.

Live programs can also be an introduction to your other services. Brief programs, such as a lunch and learn, can be delivered for free as a solid marketing vehicle for your practice.

As a therapist, if you have developed and packaged your message into a program as recommended earlier, you have the makings of a great seminar or workshop.

Why not kill two birds with one stone?

Promoting a workshop or retreat is promoting your practice at the same time and may be psychologically easier to do.

Consider adding a post-training element to your program. It could be a follow-up mini-workshop, a series of workshops or one-on-one work.

You can leverage the energy of a live event in many ways for additional revenue streams.

And, it is likely that some participants will choose to work with you after the event is over.

You will want to casually present your other offerings at the event. You may make it easier for them by having a sign-up sheet.

Teleseminars

A teleseminar (also called a teleclass) is a seminar held over the telephone, like a conference call.

The advantage of a teleseminar is the convenience. No one has to commute and the consumers dial to a bridge line at the specified time. No physical accommodations need be arranged; you only need to rent a telephone bridgeline.

Teleseminars can include people from all over the country, even internationally, at the same time.

Classes are typically 60 minutes long, but can vary. Often teleseminars are offered in a multi-class series.

Teleseminars are another way to offer your packaged content and introduce people to your services. Teleseminars can be offered for free to attract prospective clients and let them sample your services.

See www.TeleClass.com for examples of what various professionals are offering. Or, do a search on Google for teleseminars or teleclasses. There are hundreds to browse and attend.

To get a better feel for how to conduct a teleseminar, attend some yourself.

Consulting

The goal of this book is to help mental health practitioners build thriving managed-care free private practices. One of the themes I hope I have conveyed is that psychology is not just for DSM diagnoses. While we have discussed ways to market traditional services, diversification is important, as it increases the chances we can generate sufficient income to operate outside of managed care. Multiple streams of psychotherapy income can be developed in ones practice.

When I decided to build a manage-care free practice, I gave considerable thought to how

I could provide private-pay services. I explored how I could use my skills in ways that people would readily pay.

Many psychologists and other mental health professionals are successful in consulting in the workplace for the benefit of employees and employers. Business consulting can be a very lucrative income stream.

Like many practitioners, I found my skills could be applied in the business arena. Today, through a business I started called Leadership Concepts, I offer services in the areas of business consulting, executive, business and career coaching and seminars and workshops for businesses. This has proven to be a solid and growing income stream for me, and it is work I really enjoy.

Other ways to diversify into consulting include behavioral medicine, forensics and sports psychology.

Consulting is a very broad and diverse area, so I wont scrape the surface of the possibilities here. But perhaps I can give you good directions for exploration.

If this area is new for you, you will be surprised to find out the many valuable ways our psychology and mental health expertise can be of benefit to people in the workplace. Our background makes us capable of assisting businesses with many different barriers to productivity.

To familiarize yourself with this terrain, I suggest you do a Google search using the keywords business, consulting and psychologist and browse the web sites that come up.

Forensic Consulting

Another specific type of consulting is worth considering separately.

Forensic consulting has to do with psychological or mental health service specifically related to the court system.

Often times, a court has to deal with issues that impinge on mental health issues.

Some of these include:

Criminal cases

  • Competency to stand trial
  • Mental status at time of offense
  • Mitigating factors in offenses
  • Risk assessments, violence

Civil cases

  • Emotional damages in personal injuries
  • Assessments for malingering

Family cases and other

  • Child custody evaluations
  • Court-ordered psychological evaluations

In addition, attorneys often need help sorting out the issues when questions of a psychological nature occur in their cases. They retain psychologists and other experts to review files and help them prepare for depositions or cross-examination of experts.

Psychologists and other professionals can inform the court on issues, perform assessments and testify as experts.

Consultants in this area testifying as experts typically receive $1,000 to $2,000 for their testimony.

I find that this niche is an attractive one for several reasons:

  • It is completely managed-care free
  • It is interesting work
  • It makes good use of our background
  • It is lucrative
  • It is a specialized area that many professionals find intimidating,

    which means less competition

If you find this an interesting prospect as a part of your practice, then I encourage you to begin taking some training workshops to familiarize yourself with the terrain.

Web sites

Revenue streams can be active or passive. Therapy sessions, therapy groups, workshops and consulting services are all active forms of revenue streams. You exchange your time and skills for a fee.

Passive revenue is revenue from streams that do not involve service delivery, but once set up, occur automatically 24/7. A common form of passive revenue is income from products sold on a web site.

Can you see the advantages of passive revenue? Can therapists develop passive revenue streams? You bet!

Therapists can productize their most useful expertise and offer information products to benefit others.

Some of these we already looked at, like books, e-books and e-courses. These can all be offered on a web site for web seekers to obtain and utilize to fill their needs.

There are other possibilities as well, such as licensing programs.

As an example of a passive revenue web site effectively offering information products to a specific niche, see TeachMeTeamwork.com.

Passive income streams utilizing the internet via web sites are a burgeoning area for many service professionals, but few mental health professionals are taking advantage of the potential so far.

This will be changing soon.

Active income streams can also be marketed on the internet.

Web sites can also be effectively used as a marketing tool for your fee-for-service practice. More and more therapists are putting up web sites and for good reasons.

A web site is your practice brochure, available any time, day or night, to seekers on the internet. People you meet, people who hear you give a presentation and people referred to you by another professional, can be directed to view your web site, find out more about you and, hopefully, be stimulated to contact you.

A simple, attractive, intriguing postcard sent to a mailing list can direct your niche market to your web site. Or, your yellow page ad in the phone book can include your web address.

A web site is much more than a brochure. It is also a potentially powerful marketing vehicle, when combined with internet marketing strategies.

If you decide to have a web site for your practice, or for a particular niche service, make it full of resources (articles and free information) that will attract people to it and make them want to spread the word.

Although beyond the scope of this article, internet marketing strategies can be developed to drive people to your web site.

Increasingly, people are beginning their search for products and services on the internet.

The yellow pages are not the first choice for many.

Are you effectively represented on the Internet?

Licensing Programs

After you have developed effective structured programs for your niches, you can license the use of these programs to other professionals.

Other therapists have been doing this for years. Psychologist Dr. Daniel Dana, a conflict resolution specialist, certifies mediators and licenses his program at MediationWorks.com.

Another example can be found at DifficultChild.com, as we mentioned previously. Howard Glasser, M.A. offers a parenting approach and program, as well as other materials, for ADHD children. His program involves a book, a training program for parents and a training and certification program for therapists.

His program is called Transforming the Difficult Child: The Nurtured Heart Approach.

One of my coaching clients is certified in this program and speaks highly of it.

Howard Glassers web site actually models several streams of income, including a book, workshops, training other professionals, licensing or certification and internet marketing for all the above including his practice.

These programs in a box are typically complete turnkey therapy, counseling or consulting programs that therapists can purchase. They are usually complete, including the structured program itself, instructor materials, workbooks and also include marketing pieces you can use to generate business.

For those of you who want to do niche marketing but prefer not to do the creating part, you may want to find out whether someone has developed a program you can utilize to serve your niche.

Someone may have done the work for you.

If you can find a program suitable for your niche market, you could be a few days away from having a marketable service in your repertoire.

Training Other Professionals

When you have developed an effective program, you can leverage it by training others in your approach and methods.

Innovators in therapy have been training others for years. If you develop a specialization, program or niche service in a growing area, you may find many other therapists would like to learn from you.

Sometimes the innovation is mainly in how a service is packaged.

You can train other professionals via live workshops, self-study program packages and teleseminars.

Diversification by developing a number of streams of psychotherapy income increases the chances you can create sustainable income and can be rewarding in other ways too.

7 Key Steps to Create More Money in Article Marketing

Written marketing is one of the best marketing available till date. The advantage of the article marketing is due to the ready reference and the ease with which it can be stored. Here are seven key steps to create more money in article marketing.

First thing is to make your article strong. Make use of eye catchy headline. The headline should be able to attract the interest of the reader and hold him to go through the whole article.

Second thing is the totality of the article. For article marketing the article should be total in the sense that it should provide all the information from start to finish. The reader must not run for complete information somewhere else.

Third step is to make your article aesthetically appealing. Make use of good fonts and the size of the font should not be too small to be missed or too big to make it look unprofessional.

Fourth key is giving a format to your article. Make use of your company logo and address. This will develop authenticity of the article and hence interest of the reader.

Fifth step is to make the use of good language that is easy to understand and also maintain interest.

Sixth step is to promote your product with some innovative comparisons and highlighting some key features of the products and services.

Seventh key to article marketing is to provide all the links for future reference and correspondence. And if you receive any query is very prompt to answer it.

Another big thing with article marketing is testing your categories and topics, as I do.

Internet Marketing Coach - The Criteria You Need To Evaluate Before Hiring A Coach

When I first started my internet business the very course I did was by Corey Rudl. He has passed away since then, but he is a legend in the industry. So he was my very first coach. I learnt a lot and his course went a long way in helping me to establish my business. When you are starting in a new industry it is very important to learn from someone who is already successful. However you need to choose someone that you are comfortable learning from.

Now before you start a course and hire an internet marketing coach you need to evaluate a few criteria. First of all are you comfortable with the method that your coach is using to generate their online income? A typical example is the over hyped Day Job Killer. This ebook mainly used Google Adwords to generate money for affiliate income using direct linking. Now I am not saying this does not work, but not everybody may be suited for this. If you make a mistake it can be very costly.

You also need to consider how much the person who is teaching you is earning? If they are earning only a few hundred dollars or a few thousand dollars and you are earning more than that you need to question if it really is worth it? On the internet there are a lot of people who will try and make a fast buck even if they do not have enough experience in that specific field.

You also need to look at the system that they promote. Do they have ebooks, dvds, cds, forums and how their support is structured? For example if you have a problem how long will it take for them to get back to you. For some people reading an ebook alone will not help them while others are more suited to interactive discussions in forums.

Based on the above criteria you need to selectively choose your coach based on how they meet your needs.

Article Marketing Mistake #2 - Believing That Just a Few Will Do When Writing Your Articles

Article marketing requires you to have a high article volume in order to be successful.

Ive heard it so many times. People have tried article marketing and it doesnt work. Well, how many articles did you write and put out there?

Six? Well, guess what thats not enough. You need at least 25 out there to begin to get a small steady trickle of people heading your way. Thats in general. Some people can get a great stream of traffic with 10 because they are well written strategically from the beginning.

The more articles you write, the higher your article inventory, the higher all your other numbers will be. Its as simple as that. Its a numbers game. The higher your article volume, the more visitors, prospects, subscribers, publicity and profits you will have.

Now what if somebody told you that you could be involved in a business that you could control, or at least greatly influence, your numbers your visitors, your subscribers, your teleseminar listeners, your customers, your members, your students, your mentees whatever you want to call them and you could do that for free. The only cost would be time and energy.

Thats what article marketing is. When I submit articles to the article directories, I dont hope my other numbers will increase. I dont think my other numbers will increase. I absolutely know my other numbers will increase, and thats a great thing and a great feeling.

Article Marketing For Money

Article marketing is considered a traffic generation technique, and yet I still think that its primary purpose should be to make you money, not to generate traffic. You see, generating traffic is simply one of the vehicles by which article marketing makes you money.

So how does article marketing specifically make you money?

There are several ways that article marketing can make you money.

There are two specific ways that I think article marketing should be used to make you money online.

1) Article marketing to list build. I think article marketing is one of the best ways to generate quality traffic for your list building campaign. I believe that articles create some of the very highest levels of qualification, and that is what you need for your list campaign.

2) Article marketing to drive traffic to your ppc pages. I think that article marketing is a great tool for driving traffic to your ppc pages because the traffic is highly qualified and wants to learn more now. This is extremely important. They are hungry when they get there, and when the only way to really satisfy that hunger is to click a ppc ad, they often will.

I think that anytime you need highly targeted and qualified traffic is a great excuse to use article marketing. Sure, it is hard work. You have to write the articles, then you have to submit the articles. But the bottom line is that it works. It works for me, it works for about 100 other people in the world (my private estimate), and it will work for you. The only question are you willing to write for 2 hours per day?

Search Engine Optimisation Services Specialist Discusses What Is Search Engine Optimisation Part 21

Make sure that the title of your press releases, articles, forum posts and blog posts are keyword rich and specifically focussed on the category you want your website to land on in the Google search engine. Your website title is extremely important. The more keyword specific that you are in the title and content of all your posts, the more accurate you will be with your website landing in the appropriate search categories. Be aware of the minimum and maximum number of words required in all your posts by the respective submission companies you subscribe to.

If you want your search engine optimisation website marketing campaign to succeed then you need to apply all the techniques detailed here previously and in the future. How many people will take the time to absorb and apply the knowledge gained from these techniques? Will people actually study these techniques and go and do the work?

Who has the perseverance to write blog posts, forum posts, articles and press releases, all search engine optimised with unique original keyword rich content and titles, day after day, month after month, year in and year out? Unfortunately it will only be about half a percent of the readers. There is no instant process in effective successful search engine optimisation. There is no software package that will do it for you.

You have to do it. It is continuous work that will get you your first page rankings on the Google search engine. No matter what fantastic SEO program you purchased or automated submission service that you use, those so called "quick" solutions will not get you top positions on Google. There are no shortcuts to effective and successful SEO at all. You have to do all the work yourself.

Article Marketing - How to Write 20 Articles per Day

Article marketing of course is the process of writing articles, embedding them with links to your website, and submitting them to the various online directories that accept articles for online publishing. Article marketing in my opinion is one of the best ways to get quality, responsive traffic to your website. However, with article marketing, if you really going to make a full-time income out of it, you have to write prolifically. Many days I write over 20 articles per day. I do not do it because it is fun, I do it because it is lucrative.

I have to admit, it is hard to write 20 articles per day. After I have written about 10 articles, my mind becomes less creative. I think it would be easier to write 20 articles per day, or at least 10 articles per day, if I were writing really long articles, and then breaking them up into smaller articles. But because I do not do that, I have to come up with 10 to 20 new article topics every single day. And that is the most difficult part.

So how do I do it? Or more rightfully so how should you do it?

The first thing to do is to write out 20 article topics at the beginning of the day. That way towards the end of the day, when you get to the 12th article or the 15th article, you do not give up because you are in creative mind, and at this point, cannot come up with any new article titles or topics. This also helps you mentally, because you believe you have not finish the project until you've written at least the 20 articles.

Once I have written 20 article topics, then I begin to write about 300 words about each article topic. I write conversationally, just the way I think about it. I think this makes it easier.

One of the most important things about trying to write 20 articles per day is that you have to be committed to it. You see 20 articles per day times 20 days in the month (I don't work weekends), equals 400 articles per month. If some days you only write 10 articles and some days you only write five articles and some days you don't write any. And maybe a few days you write 20 articles at the end of the month maybe only have 100 articles or 200 articles -- which is much less than half the income from 400 articles.

How To Turn 0 Dollars Into 200 Dollars Per Day In Clickbank Profits

Contrary to popular belief, it does not take money to make money from Clickbank. You don't have to slap up tons of costly AdWords ads, or pay large fees to Search Engine Optimization companies to make a full-time income from Clickbank. Many ordinary people create a nice income using free advertising methods. Here are 3 ways you can make profits from Clickbank without spending a dime:

1. Viral Article Marketing

This refers to the method of submitting short 250-500 word articles to article directories to make affiliate sales. It is more popularly known as Bum Marketing. Basically, you include your affiliate link in your resource box (or use a redirect from your own website to the affiliate product) and let your articles do the pre-selling.

2. No-Cost Classified Advertising

Classified ad sites are a goldmine of hungry customers looking for solutions. While you might not be able to advertise your direct affiliate link on some classified ads sites, you are allowed to direct visitors to a blog where you can pre-sell your affiliate product. Short and simple classified ads have the ability to pull in some nice profits everyday.

3. Forum Maven

Become a forum authority and post informative content at niche forums. In your signature file, include your affiliate link. If you make just 10 posts a day, you should be able to generate some sales every week. This should not be used as a main strategy, but as a "supplementary" one.

By using these 3 simple methods of generating traffic to your affiliate link, it's possible for you to start making some affiliate sales on a daily basis.

Article Marketing Mastery

If you are selling a product or a service online, article marketing can be one of the easiest and most cost effective ways to send traffic to your website. As well as driving people directly to your site, you will also use article marketing to boost your link popularity - a critical factor in search engine rankings.

The first step in mastering article marketing is writing good content. Even if you don't have experience writing articles, this is a skill you can develop over time. At the start, keep it as simple as possible and use short sentences. Try to be helpful and give advice in your article without overloading it with keywords.

Also, make sure you write an excellent headline. The more attention you can grab with your headline, the more times the article will be published. I've read that top copywriters spend more time developing a headline or title than actually writing the article itself.

Secondly, spend some time writing a good resource box that will encourage readers to click on the link to your website. Once readers navigate to your page, you can offer them your products or you can offer them something for free so long as they submit their email address.

Either way, you are onto a winner. You will either sell products or begin to develop a list of potential buyers who you can contact with news, helpful tips, and special offers.

Once you have written your article and resource box, you need to think about distributing your articles.

Article directories are probably the easiest way to get your work out in the public domain. There are hundreds of article directories out there, some general and some that publish articles on niche areas. Find the ones that you think will get your articles the most exposure. I like to make sure I submit to article directories with at least a PageRank of 3.

Submitting to article directories can be a time-consuming exercise. There are software packages that can make automatic submissions, but many directories have measures in place to block automatic submissions. Alternatively you could use an article submission service, but these can be expensive. It is probably best to choose a few directories that suit you and make the submissions yourself. Do a search for "article submission software" to find the lastest article submission software products.

You can also try contacting editors of e-zines in your field and ask them to consider accepting some of your work. Send a sample of your work.

As you submit more and more articles you should become more well known and you will build up trust among website publishers. Be patient, and your article marketing efforts will pay off...I guarantee it!

Article Marketing - How Do I Get Started in Article Marketing and Internet Marketing?

I hear this so often, and many folks don't get started because they don't know where to start. They get confused. If you sign up for a few lists, you end up getting the product of the day that will change your life and you must have if you're going to be successful. It's very confusing.

I saw a presentation recently that was proposing to teach all of internet marketing, and they mentioned 40 different entry points. That's a lot to have to manage.

One of the ways around that is to pick one that's a gateway into the rest and get going. That allows you to cut the noise, because if you're listening to everybody and listening to every offer and getting everything, like I did at first - I wish I hadn't done that years ago - you wind up confused, feeling like you're busy, feeling like you're stressed, feeling like you're doing a lot, but not having great results.

Here's a 2-step process to get started:

  • Look around, do your due diligence, do your research, listen to some people, find the people that you can relate to and connect with, pick one and focus.
  • Stay in massive action.

If you do things, you'll move ahead. Now while you're in massive action you've got to be willing to fail sometimes.

I was talking to Matt Bacak the other day. His first teleseminar - this is a guy who can pull thousands now - just three or four years ago had 6 people on it, and half of them were relatives.

Some things will work, some things won't. The quicker you find out what doesn't, in other words the quicker you fail at some things, the quicker you'll find out what works.

Internet Marketing Articles - Writing These Articles Can Teach You a Lot About Yourself

Article marketing has the potential of changing your life forever. Nothing like starting out with a statement that can knock your socks off. I do believe this is true. I dismissed article marketing when I was first introduced to the idea. There were several aspects of it that I thought just did not make sense: the first of which was that you could take other articles and just change a few words and make them your own. I could see right away, that this type of thing would have no value.

The idea was presented to me again at a later point, and by now I had heard enough times what a great way it was to promote your business, and how inexpensive it was that I thought I would give it a try. I started by submitting 10 articles. All 10 of my articles were rejected, and had to be rewritten or fixed two or three times before I got them submitted: needless to say, this took considerable time and effort.

The funny thing was that this did not discourage me; it actually convinced me that article marketing was indeed a legitimate form of Internet marketing. Simply stated, if it took this much effort to get my article submitted to the top article directory, then the other articles being submitted had to be at least this good and more likely, better.

I guess what I am saying is that unlike what I had thought originally, articles could be a valuable resource for readers, therefore they were a legitimate source of information, meaning they would actually be read by people looking for information.

What I concluded from all of this is article marketing attracts a very real group of potential prospects to be targeted; therefore, if I was to master the skills and become an expert article marketer, I could build a very solid business and career online. This means you can too.

What if Dan Iverson could show you how to write about any topic on earth and make money? Internet Marketing Tips All Self Storage Operators Need To Know To Get Started on The Right Foot

Internet marketing is quickly becoming a major part of all self storage operations. And rightly so; there are hundreds of thousands of potential renters that use the Internet each month to find storage. The storage industry is not the only industry where the Internet plays a huge role. Almost any industry today must consider the Internet as an essential source of new business. In just a few years we'll probably be considering it our main source of new business.

You may or may not know that Internet marketing is available for a fraction of the cost of traditional marketing. In addition, the Internet allows you to display a plethora of information to potential renters like: pictures, maps, unit sizes, prices, and specials. In fact, you can even give customers the ability to rent instantly (if this feature is available on your website)! Internet marketing is flexible, meaning you can quickly and easily change your ads throughout the year. And arguably the best aspect of Internet marketing is that traffic, consumer patterns and behaviors and the actions these people take can all be tracked and monitored - making it easy for you to evaluate its effectiveness.

Because this topic is still new to some of you in the industry, I wanted to share the terms most commonly used when talking about Internet marketing:

1. URL - the website address you type into your browser to go to a webpage.

2. Search Engine - I'll just say Google. Google is the most widely used search engine. Some other popular search engines include Yahoo, AOL, and MSN.

3. SEO - the acronym for Search Engine Optimization. This process helps YOUR website move higher and higher in the search engine rankings when people type in specific words or phrases into a search engine. The websites you see on the first page when you search for something are well optimized and are receiving most of the traffic.

4. PPC - the acronym for Pay Per Click. This is a form of Internet advertising (and a major source of Google's revenue) that allows you to only pay when people click on your ad and are taken to your website.

5. CTR - the acronym for Click Thru Rate. This is the percentage of people who click on your ad out of all those who see it. The higher this percentage, the better.

6. CPC - the acronym for Cost Per Click. This is how much you pay each time somebody clicks on your ad. In the self storage industry this is usually between $1.50 and $3.00.

7. Impressions - the number of times your ad was seen by a searcher on a search engine.

8. Conversion Rate - the number of actual renters out of all your inquiries. You want this number to be high as well.

9. CPA - the acronym for Cost Per Acquisition. This is how much it costs you to acquire a new customer.

10. ROI - the acronym for Return on Investment. This is the ratio of money gained or lost on an investment; in terms of marketing it is how much profit you're making for each marketing dollar you spend.

Your goal for Internet marketing should involve capturing as many tenants as possible through the Internet at the lowest possible cost (lowest CPA). Because the Internet allows you to display so much information to potential renters, often times these potential renters come to you already knowing where you're located, your office hours, unit sizes, and specials and therefore, are ready to rent a unit.

People using the Internet will contact you in one of four ways:

1. Call. Many people use the Internet as a research tool and then proceed to pick up the phone to call.

2. Walk-in. Also, many people, after researching you on the Internet will choose to walk in to your facility.

3. Email. Many types of Internet marketing allow customers to contact you via email, either through a form or in a standard email.

4. Rent online. If you give them the option through your website many will take advantage of it.

Many owner/operators think the Internet is a mysterious monster that will not be effective in their local market. In fact the Internet is a very effective advertising medium that will generate a nice flow of new tenants if you use it right. The Kelsey Group found that more than 43% of consumers search the Internet to find a local product or service!

Let's talk about your website. Many of you probably have a website. That is typically the first step most owners take when starting to advertise online. One of the most important things to remember about your website is that you must attract people to it in order to gain monetary value. 80% of Internet users start at a search engine. If your website is not found on the search engines (specifically the first or second page) you will be missing out on 80% of these potential renters.

You can have the coolest, flashiest and most expensive website on the net but if you don't have people visiting and taking action to rent from you, it won't result in any new tenants.

There are three basic methods to ensure your website appears on the search engines:

1. Pay Per Click Advertising (PPC). If you use Google, MSN or Yahoo to do a search, these ads are along the right side of the results page and sometimes up top. They're usually labeled "Sponsored Links." These campaigns are fairly quick to setup and results can be instant. Expect to pay $1.50 - $5.00 per click (every time somebody clicks on your ad to go to your website). This can get very expensive if you don't know what you're doing; however if done right it can prove to be a very cost effective way to gain new tenants. If you're going to attempt a PPC campaign by yourself, I highly recommend a book called "The Ultimate Guide to Google AdWords" by Perry Marshall.

2. Organic/Natural Search Engine Optimization (SEO). These are the non-PPC results you see when you do a search. The main difference between this and PPC is that you do not pay per click. Getting your website ranked organically usually takes more time and expertise. But, once you establish this ranking, the traffic is usually heavier and less expensive. I recommend discussing an organic SEO campaign with your web programmer to see if they can help you.

Be cautious when proceeding with an organic campaign in this industry. 1st page rankings are very competitive and might not be achieved without time and a heavy investment. Also, beware of any SEO companies that promise or guarantee 1st page rankings! When talking about SEO, no one can guarantee rankings of any sort. If they make this guarantee, they are generally trying to trick you to get your business.

3. Online Directories. Online directories are created for consumers looking for a specific product or service. Our website, USstoragesearch.com, is an online directory that targets searchers looking for self and mobile storage. We keep our website highly optimized organically and do extensive Pay Per Click advertising so that it shows up on the first page of all major search engines locally and nationally for a variety of self storage related keywords. You will see us on the search engines for keywords such as "self storage,' 'storage unit,' and for a variety of local keywords such as 'San Diego self storage.' Because of this we see more than 70,000 visitors each month on our website and are able to direct them to our facility members.

If you are an operator that is not currently advertising online, a directory is the fastest way to get started without any SEO or PPC knowledge. There are a few good online directories out there for the self storage industry. Shop carefully and ask a lot of questions. The most important thing to ask about a directory is how they are qualifying the potential customers they are sending your way. You want to be sure the directory is able to send quality prospects your way.

Those are the three fundamental ways to drive traffic to your website. With the affordability of Internet marketing and the number of people using the Internet to find storage, I recommend you test all three methods and see what works for you.

Now that you know all about the basics of Internet marketing and the three most effective ways to drive traffic to your website I encourage you to seriously evaluate how you are advertising online. It's very inexpensive and easy to track - there's no reason not to.

There are hundreds of thousands of people using the Internet to search for storage each month. Can they find your facility or are they renting with your more Internet-savvy competition?

Megan Eckert is Executive Vice President for USstoragesearch.com, an online storage directory providing service to more than 9,000 self & mobile storage facilities in the U.S. Their unique online marketing program allows operators to instantly put their facilities in front of customers searching the Internet for storage in their local area for a very reasonable fee. Real Estate Marketing Strategies: 3 Simple Tips for Creating Your Ideal Income this Year

Most of us start off the New Year with the best of intentions. And we all have a deep longing in our hearts for this year to be the best year yet. We even make resolutions.

Sadly, however, most resolutions are forgotten by Jan30. Before we know it we are caught up in the same reactive cycle as we were before. This article shows you how to create a new paradigm for success.

1. Use the Power of Your Imagination

Einstein once said, Imagination is more important than knowledge. Have you imagined how your want your professional life to look in 12 months from today?

If you havent already, try this: close your eyes and create your Ideal Professional Life.

a. See your self doing work you love and see how many hours a week you are doing it.

b. Ask yourself what kind of people your want to be working with. Who are your ideal clients and colleagues?

c. What are your ideal physical surroundings for your work environment?

d. What is your ideal income in 12 months?

So far, so good. Now put yourself into this visualization and feel what it feels like to be in the picture of your Ideal Professional Life. What positive feelings are you experiencing? Most people report such feelings as peaceful, calm , excited , confident, satisfied, etc. What are your unique feelings? Can you allow yourself to experience them now?

The more you can feel these feelings and practice them every day, more you will magnetize the events leading up to the feelings to land in your lap. You get what your focus on. Focus on your Ideal Professional Life and thats what youll get.

2. Become aware of your obstacles, challenges, self-limiting beliefs and self-sabotaging strategies.

Now that youre clear on where you want to be professionally In 12 months from now, and your know exactly what you want your income to be, please yourself this question: What would I have to overcome to reach this goal. What would need to be Dissolved? What blocks would you need to remove?

After 30 years of coaching people to be more fully empowered, I can honestly say that most people realize that they are the ones holding themselves back.

To become aware of how you may be holding yourself back, Look at your self-limiting beliefs, your self-sabotaging strategies and the tone of your self talk/

a. When your are able to identify the self-limiting beliefs, like, I dont have what it takes to succeed, and more, then practice reprogramming those beliefs to Empowered Beliefs like I have all I need to succeed.

b. Youll be able to recognize your self sabotaging strategies because they will show up as avoidance or procrastination. Usually with the help of a good coach or mentor you can learn to reverse those self-sabotaging strategies into ones that will serve you.

c. What is the tone of your self talk? If you judge yourself or Berate yourself, then your Inner Critic (also known as the Gremlin) is in charge. Your Inner Critic thinks its trying to Help you to be successful, but actually its destroying your Confidence. Ihighly recommend learning how to tame your Gremlin if youre committed to your own success.

3. Have a plan to reach your goals.

So far weve explored how you need clarity about your goals, next you need to clear away negative beliefs and anything that would get in the way. Now we need to explore where the rubber meets the road.

a. Ask yourself if you have a crystal clear action plan?

b. Do you have a time management system to implement your plan?

c. Do you have a plan for accountability? This is where coaching comes in handy. You have a witness for your accountability. Do you have any idea how much more accountable to yourself you become when someone is meeting with you week after week and saying , How did that action step go.

d. Do you know your unique selling point?

e. Do you know your niche and your target market?

f. Do you have a tangible plan to reach your target market, identify their problem and provide a solution?

In summary, to create your Ideal Income, you must know where you want to be, clear away the obstacles getting in your way and know how to get there.
