Viral marketing is a methods of list building

There are multiple methods of list building, and if you are just getting started, until you have gained mastery over one or two methods, it is advisable to use multiple methods of list building strategies. You’ll see every step of the process, no matter how small, in exacting detail so

Instead of business as usual (television, radio, print), companies must now adapt their advertising and marketing efforts to embrace a new breed of web-savvy consumers to secure such ripe online opportunities. This is due to the fact that traditional consumers have shifted the way they perceive, search and acquire information as a result of search engines, this known as Online Marketing.

Online marketing is defined as the selling of products on the Internet. Online marketing, (also known as web marketing, search engine marketing, SEO or internet marketing) is vital in today's internet savvy world.

Advantages of online marketing is taking place wherein it is globally accessible. This is the greatest advantage of online marketing using the website. Unlike traditional marketing, it requires you to select a medium such as: print; radio; television; mail shots etc. to advertise your product in regions or nationally. You can interpolate your offline and online campaigns, outsource e-commerce work to cheap and efficient third party resources and thereby lower your marketing budget, and battle test new creative ideas. Also, more consumers of every type, not just B2B buyers and corporate executives, now routinely use broadband service. This means that you can reach practically your full spectrum of customers.

The good news is that it's not too late to make up the ground. An intelligently pursued ad campaign that takes advantage of technologies, builds in a redundant infrastructure, and measures consumer responses can quickly outpaced even a well-established competitor online ad plan.

Many advantages are not yet disclosed but those few above are the major advantages that acquaints us of what online marketing could do to help and serve consumers for their wants and needs. Whether we call it as an Online Marketing, Web Marketing, SEO, or Internet Marketing, still it gives an easy way and a good avenue to market your product efficiently to those web-savvy customers.

Viral marketing is a methods of list building

Not everyone knows the value of the internet as a business and marketing tool, but they should. The internet has become a huge part of our lives and the lives of our consumers, and like it or not, that is not something that is going to change anytime soon. The internet has become the place to do business and to supplement the income/information available from a brick and mortar store. Even the tiniest shop owners are catching on to the idea of web sites and Enewsletters, and you should be, too.

Of course, having a web site isnt enough of a reason for people to want to buy from you. There should be plenty of content to keep your potential customers entertained and informed so that the chance that they will become actual customers only rises. This includes interesting information about your company and what you do, information about the products, and even articles relevant to your target market.

Selling the best baby bottle ever? Have an article or three on breast pumps, first-time mothers, or getting Daddy involved in feeding. Selling horse feed? Inform your customers about the best methods for grooming a show horse or the best way to grow feed. Keeping your customer interested will ensure that they bookmark your site and return again, hopefully making a purchase in the process.

To make those articles work double-duty for you, they should be written to attract the attention of search engines to place your web site higher in the rankings. How much more likely is it that customers will find your site if it is on the first page versus the third? The answer is that most people never even look past the first page of results.

Drawing people to your web site means drawing potential customers to your product. In the writing and internet worlds, these special articles are known as SEO, which is an acronym for Search Engine Optimized. These SEO articles are packed full of your keywords so that search engines rank your web site as extremely relevant.

You might think that anyone can write an SEO article, and to some extent that is true. You could probably come up with a page long article that mentions horse feed twelve times, but would it be interesting to read or relevant to your customers? Sure, youve attracted the search engines, but if customers roll their eyes at your obvious attempts to snag them, they are unlikely to explore the rest of your site.

The solution is to outsource writing for your web site to experienced writers. A good writer should be able to write an interesting and relevant article with up to a five percent keyword density. This means that up to five percent of the words in the article are your chosen key word. In other words, your word is used five times out of every one hundred words. That may not seem like a lot, but keep in mind that in a five percent density keyword article, this current paragraph would have used your keyword five times, both naturally and efficiently.

There are a few guidelines to keep in mind when you are outsourcing. The best advice we can think of is that if the price is incredibly low, the quality likely is, too. Best to spend a little more for great work than to settle for something your child could write. A second guideline deals with the density a good SEO article can be done with as little as one or two percent density for a single keyword. More can often mean better, but more than five percent and it becomes almost impossible to include the word without sounding artificial. Also, the more words in your key phrase, the less dense your article should be. (A five percent density of a five word keyword means that a full quarter of each paragraph is made up of your keywords, leaving little to no room for anything else.)

For a good writer, you dont even need to come up with a title or theme! Hand them a few key words and ask for three articles of a certain word length (400-600 words is average) and prepare to be amazed at what you get back. Not only will your business climb the search engine ranks, it will also boom with interested new business.

Making Money with Your Blog!

A place for finding the Nuts and Bolts for Making Money Online with Affiliate Marketing Business Opportunity!

People say that the use of meta tags are dead, a useless addition to your web site, but are they wrong? Meta tags still serve a useful purpose in every web site. Even though not all search engines utilize these tags they still hold extremely important information about your web site and it's content.

Not only do meta tags tell a search engine spider about your web site, it also provides instructions telling the spider what you would like it to do and not do.

First let's look at what meta tags tell us about your web site:

The first tag in your meta tags should be your title tag, in my opinion this is the most important tag you can control. This tag should state your company and no more then 3 key words that pertain to that page. An example of this is

<TITLE>SEO ONE, inc. Search Engine Optimization, Internet Marketing, SEO.</TITLE>

Keyword tag should be the next in line of importance. This tag is fairly straight forward however there are rules on how many keywords you should have. The rule of thumb is around 10 but I recommend no more then 3 keywords. The reason for this is the more keywords you have the more difficult it is to keep the weighted average where it needs to be above 54%. It also becomes difficult to match the keywords in the site to the keyword meta tags. An example of this meta tag is

<META NAME="KEYWORDS" CONTENT="Search Engine Optimization, Internet Marketing, SEO.">

The 3rd in succession should be your description tag, in this tag we want to describe the web page we are on, and again we have another opportunity to list our 3 key words for this page. This is important do not over look this. It is also critical to keep the order the keywords appear. An example of this tag is

<META NAME="DESCRIPTION" CONTENT="SEO ONE, Inc has mastered the search engine optimization code. Search engine optimization SEO is the art of preparing, analyzing, and promoting your web site so that it is extremely visible and highly ranked. Search Engine Optimization, Internet Marketing, SEO.">

Now we are onto the part of the tags that tell the search engine what you would like for it to do with your web site. These tags are also critical as we can in some cases direct the spider through your web pages.

<META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="INDEX, FOLLOW, ARCHIVE, all">

This tag tells the search engine you would like it to visit your home page, follow all linked pages, and cashes all pages it passes through. This is important because it allows the engine to store your site in it's data base.

<META NAME="revisit-after" CONTENT="7 days">

In this tag we tell the spider to come back to our web site every 7 days to search for more content. As a web page changes the content needs to be re indexed in order for it to be relevant. This tag can help us with this point.

There are many more tags, and more detailed information about the tags above, however I only wanted to give a general overview as to the importance of the above tags.

Making Money with Your Blog!

A place for finding the Nuts and Bolts for Making Money Online with Affiliate Marketing Business Opportunity!

If you are trying to explode your email marketing list, I would understand why. You probably want to augment your sale leads or build trusting business relationship with your potential clients. These are the key in growing your business online, so I must say that you are on the right track.

1. Establish your expertise and credibility online. Why should I subscribe with you? This is the common question of online users before they hand over their email addresses. They would like to be assured that they will benefit from their registrations. Show them what you have to offer by filling your website with valuable and useful content. You can also establish your expertise by imparting your knowledge through article marketing.

2. Viral marketing. Explode your list by letting your current subscribers do the work for you. Send them anything that they can easily forward to their friends or family members such as ebook, articles, ecourses, step by step guides, streaming videos, or audio files. Don't forget to embed your sign-up page's URL to make it easier for interested parties to subscribe with you.

3. Use sign-up forms. Make sure that they are short enough to make the whole registration process hassle-free for your potential clients. Make them highly visible when you post them on your blog or website by placing them on top of your pages.

4. Drive traffic to your website and your blog. Your target market will not be able to access your sign-up form if they are not aware about your website or blog. Promote them online using SEO, link building, article marketing, and forum posting to augment your traffic.

Three Things You Must Do Before You Submit To Article Directories

To all writers and non-writers out there, now is the time to start digging up those creative writing skills.With modern communication technology comes the popularity of information-based marketing, which is one of the oldest and most effective techniques in getting targeted prospects to sites and converting them into buyers. This is

One of the big attractions of Directories, from a SEO point of view, is One Way Links. Backlinks from a quality directory will enhance your site's reputation. The more incoming links you can get, the better your search engine rankings and the more traffic you will receive from the Search Engines. There is nothing better than free traffic!

Types of Links:

Typically, Directories will offer a variety of links:

Free Links - check whether they use the "nofollow" attribute - "nofollow" means Google PR will NOT be passed to your site. However, you will get traffic from this link.

Regular Links - typically similar to Free Links but the "nofollow" attribute is not used.

Reciprocal Links - the directory will list your link in exchange for a link back from your site.

Feature Links - typically these links will offer extra exposure; normally they are listed above regular listings in a particular category; many sites offer other advantages such as site thumb shots of the site's home page.

Are all Directories equal? Of course not - some have a better reputation than others. For example, most SEO experts recommend a listing in the Yahoo Directory (currently $299 / year) and Business.com ($199 / year or PPC model). SEO experts also recommend Niche Directories. So, for example, if you wish to promote a Real Estate site, then you should be listed in real estate directories. In addition, Directories with a good reputation will also enhance your site.

SEO Tips:

We recommend that you submit to directories that are well categorised. Your link will then appear on a page which is "on theme" and Google will see the relevance. In addition look for directories that require extensive descriptions of the site. Relevant text around your link will again enhance the quality of the link. The quality of the site can be judged by its design, Alexa Ranking and Google PR. Finally, it is useful to check whether the Directory accepts Deep Links. Google will raise flags if the same anchor text is used to link to the same home page. Deep links to inner pages is more natural and will not flag G's attention.

Traffic:

One of the reasons you should submit to directories is traffic. This can be another source of "free" traffic for your site. Busy directories will receive considerable daily traffic. Browsers will eventually choose a link to leave on! You can measure the site's likely daily traffic from the Alexa Ranking. An Alexa Ranking of 1 or 2 will be Google.com! The larger the Alexa ranking number, the less traffic the site receives.
